love this. when i was using tampons i couldnt go more than 3 and half hours without needing to change because they absorb BOTH your blood and other natural discharge which is will there regardless of period time or not. I switched to cups and i still have to empty my cup at least once a day in the beginning. i havent bought these because i felt like i would leak and or stink, since period blood only smells once it hits oxygen.....

The smell actually comes from your blood and discharge mixing with the chemicals in traditional disposable products. They may smell slightly of blood but shouldn't smell like a disposable

I've been wanting to get period panties to use with my cups. I use disposable liners with my cup and I hate having to buy them and throw them away all the time. Also, would you recommend them for between period use for heavy discharge flow? Or would a reusable pad/panty liner be better?

Okay so at the end of last year i switched from disposable products to all reusable ones. I now have reusable pads and period panties as well as a cup and disk and yes the reusable pads and liners are amazing and definitely worth it. They are so much more comfy, you never run out, and they are prettier than gross disposables. Plus there is no gross odor!

Hi! I actually have alot of interlabial pads, i love them for when i have my cup in, i use them as a way to tell if i need to clean my cup out. They stay in place but are not good for anything other than spotting or discharging.

Are the whole underwear waterproof with absorband crotch or is it normal underwear with pad-crotch if you know what I mean? How would you decribe the surface area the absorbent part covers? How far does it go up in the front, like can you sleep face down without leaking at the front? Libresse has period underwear too but I find these very much too low in the front.

Also I just wore my first (ever period underwear) pair of VS period panties and when I rised them out they ran clear water too. Even thro I was on day two of my period and I was moderately bleeding. So here is my question, what would idea's would you have for a young girl, if its her first period, and she would not be a canidate for cups just yet, but would likely not tolerate pads very well do to sensory issues? Of all the period underwear you have worn do you have a favorite or one you feel has worked the best??

If she has sensory issues from pads, I would suggest a period underwear that is not bulky as to feel as close to regular underwear as possible. I haven't tried too many of the mainstream period underwear yet, but I do think the Pink Period Panties that I tested out in this video would be a great option for her. They are not bulky, they have a range of sizes, and are pretty affordable if you have to buy more than the usual person due to needing to change them out every couple hours. The only stick is that you'd have to see how much she bleeds to know when she needs to change her underwear throughout the day to avoid leakage. Also for out in public, reusable diaper dry bags are a great option for keeping dirty period underwear!

I would suggest using something internal on heavy days and if it is a light day she can go on her own without anything else It honestly just depends on how heavy of a day she is having.

It shouldn't ruin the absorbency unless you're adding dryer sheets or something. I've dried cloth pads, cloth diapers, and period panties in the dryer for years, and they're still absorbent.

Doesn't everyone wash new clothing before they wear it? I would assume that especially with panties, everyone washes them before wearing them the first time... You have no idea what kind of chemicals could still be on the clothing from the factory, and you have no idea how many thousands of people have touched that item before you got it....
