The Boosh is a lesson in suspension of disbelief. You have to be able to believe there's a universe where people are style-thieves, and there are people who care

it happens all the time in publishing. at least in fiction... whenever a writer hits big-ish, every author with a last name starting with the same letter (on either side of that name) have cover art that apes whatever the new big-ish thing looks like.. the authors have no say, but you see it all the time.

It's amazing how crimp has evolved since the seminal moment. To think we now have crimpaggae, crimp and bass, minimal crimp, crimpetton to name but a few. All accepted as one. They all stood on the shoulders of these giants frankly, not without significant distain and discrimination from the masses. I salute them and I hope you do too.

This was just such a genius way to end the show. To take these fun little bits and make them the dramatic finish.

I personally think the birthday party episode would have worked better as the shows finale. Them jumping around in the bouncy castle being happy and goofy but this episode is a close second.

1. I'd say Noel Fielding is beautiful when he's angry, but when isn't he? 2. Nothing beats the original, but Simon Farnaby as store-brand knock off Howard is high on my list of best things ever. 3. The store-brand knock off of Vince plays the part well - if Vince was completely unlikeable with no redeeming qualities. Makes it easy to want to set him on fire for stealing not just style, but entire personification. 4. Can't say I blame the style stealers (plus just love Simon!), but if they'd at least just presented themselves as a cover version instead of trying to be them and claim to be originals, I wouldn't want to set one of the two on fire (my love for Simon Farnaby lends his style stealer enough good will that he'd be the one who lives to tell the tale). 5. Noel's literal little brother Mike is friggin cute. Can't imagine anyone else as Naboo. Wouldn't have been as brilliant.
