It never made sense why Jake didn't dump Lorena since he dumped Tiffany when the same thing happen to her when she was dating him.

Holly Wilhite it wasn't the same thing. He trusted Tiffany to handle herself when with the other guy. Meaning when he went to kiss her, she didn't even pull away. She was so in the moment she let it happen. Jake was also frustrated thinking it was his fault for letting her go without him when he didn't trust the other guy in the first place. With Lorena, Mark kissed her. and she DID pull away. He also trusted Mark to know better so he wouldn't have to worry. With Tiffany he already didn't trust the other guy so he had to trust HER. So both Mark and Tiffany failed his trust. So they both ended up with the same result. Granted both Tiff and Mark became friends with Jake again in time, but with Tiff it was different as he couldn't see himself with her anymore as a girlfriend but maybe just as a friend. And he can't blame Lorena if another guy tried to kiss her out of nowhere when she didn't want it. Watch both kisses and you'll see the difference.

Mark ain't too bright, Lorena too quickly understanding, and wrongly (if briefly) blaming herself. Jake and the part where he and Mark are playing the song are hilarious--the angry strumming, lol as well as Mark's lyrics. What's most believable is Jake feeling betrayed.

Yes, I've heard that Jay had someone else sing for him, so it's strange how Mark gets all the hate for not singing - I guess Jake's simply more popular. Does it really matter if any of them had someone sing for them? They were never pretending to be a real band - they're actors. I get that it's better if you're doing a show about a band it's better to cast actors who can sing, but maybe Jay and Aaron were the only ones who worked as Jake and Mark?
