His lack of affected my son’s life like a plague, that I ultimately had to forgive, cause God said so, however my son deserved this heartfelt emotion from beginning to end….yet he didn’t get it from his dad in his life cause his dad did not have it to give. Alcoholism is a sinister demon that sucks the life right out of its prey, leaving them heartless … Thank you BabyFace for giving to me that one thing that I never received from not even my own dad. As a mother I want to be clear in hopes of helping other mothers or parents. Don’t feel as though I clarified. It Does Not get easier/better. You learn to incorporate it into your life with prayers and counseling. Never feel embarrassed to acknowledge you’re drowning and need help. My experience also included, I needed to forgive myself because I felt I’d failed him even though intellectually I knew that wasn’t true. He was a passenger took off his seat belt to shield the young lady in the back seat and she lived and for that I’m grateful. Music has always been a form of relaxation for me. 💜

My son was told by doctors that he won’t be able to have children. I watched as he broke down in my office that day seven years ago . Out of that death news as a father I spoke life to him and told him that he will have a child and that he will be someone special appointed by God that’s why his been attacked. They tried three times and all failed . God showed me a verse of scripture and I spoke it over them . Last week his wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy .
