Some people are very good at faking body language as a defence mechanism. Harris looks dissinterested in interviews with Nicole but he is actually, as he clearly stated here, nervous and terrified of her, still. He is trying so hard not to fanboy over her. He even appears to be yawning in some interviews. It is a subtle sign of his body hiding real feelings. She is mirroring whatever he is feeling and the feelings are thus mutual. He is too intimidated by her to act on those feelings. 2 cents from an hidden-energy reader;) (Sorry Harris for exposing you:)).

I just thought he is displaying his youth and lack of professionalism. She’s been doing this for 60 years and has been the limelight and had a lot of experience. He’s just starting out and very young. I think it’s his youth too. He’s just younger and not as sophisticated in front of the interviewer Even the director is an as sophisticated articulate and prepared to speakas Nicolle.

This movie is a good concept and premise but the worst casting ever and Nicole Kidman is not sexually attractive and quite off putting. Better casting for an aging female is Halle Berry, Diane Lane, Demi Moore, Sandra Bullock, Sharon Stone, Catherine Zeta Jones….. Male casting could have been Austin Butler, Nicolas Gallitzine…..

No, casting was perfect. Both of their performances are phenomenal in the movie. Nicole and Harris are hot together too because they’re good actors.
