Say what you may about her films/ tv projects but there is simply no denying that Nicole Kidman has been & still is a risk taker through out her career. I think the films/ tv mentioned in this interview is just a fraction of the many various projects / characters that she has portrayed & the many Directors that she has sought to work with.

Wonderful interview. This is an amazing insight into some truly iconic roles and films from my favourite actress. Although I like many of her lighter, even comedic films, I feel she really becomes something almost otherworldly in roles which require her to fully lose herself in a complicated & challenging character. I so wish she’d been asked about Dead Calm ( 1989 ) The Portrait of a Lady ( 1996 ) & Birth ( 2003 ) as these are three of my personal favourites.

And When Moulin Rouge came out, I bought the DVD as a present for my little sister that was 10 yo Christmas 2001, and she watched it and loved it,,sang all the songs, and it effected her massively! The Others, Eyes Wide Shut, The Northman and so many. She is more busy than most. Love her!

I wish they included the movies 'Birth' and 'The Paperboy.' Both are completely different films, and in my opinion, they're Kidman's top best performances. I think her performance in 'The Paperboy' is her top best performance. It's one of those times where I saw Nicole Kidman, but I was watching her character Charlotte Bless. It's an extraordinary performance. Her performance in 'Birth' is flawless. It's one of my favorite films. It's sadly underrated and misunderstood. I am happy they included 'Dogville.' Another amazing film! When it first came out in 2003, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. Mainly cause, I didn't know the setting of the story was like a stage play, and the performances seemed unearthly. I remember giving it credit for its experimental approach. 21 years later, I love it. It's a masterpiece! I wish Lars was able to complete the trilogy.

I've admired and lusted for Nicole since Dead Calm. I used to have her BMX series on cd. She's this exquisite beauty. Then there's her acting ability and her enjoyment of delving into some fantastic characters. Finally, she wants to understand the business of creating. I also respect her depth of family, be it blood or not. She loves and loves well.

6:00 this is true and it has fractured my relationship with my mother who was a victim of said abuse. There's no turning back unless there's a significant shift in both our lives.

It's wild that they built the house in The Others for the film. The twist reveal was so gaggy that I'll never forget that moment seeing it in the theater. Everyone was like, WHAT!?

7:33 Ooo, that "Togetha'" was *pointed* and had a tone. Lol. She's speaking directly to another actor who was NOT working "togetha'" with her at some point in her career. I wonder who.

She is so amazinggggggg and smart and beautiful, ah!! The way she talks about her directors and costars is so intricate and thoughtful; it always seems like she's the one elevating the film but she's like, stop, plz respect artistic collaborationnnn. i love her, to die for.
