Thank you, Denise. My instruction book says to change to the "straight stitch needle plate." Is this necessary?

Hi Mari, While not necessary to use the straight stitch needle plate to free motion quilt, you might find that the stitch quality is enhanced, especially if you are an experienced quilter that likes to move quickly.

Do any baby lock sewing/quilting machines come with a stitch regulator? I was looking at an Aerial today at my local quilt shop and was told it does not have one. Literally every other brand I have been considering has one either standard or optional

Currently, the only machines in our line that have stitch regulation are all of our machines in our Longarm category. We appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our product development team as they work on future releases.

Very confusing for beginners
