When I hear this, way back when and even today, I am moved to tears by the emotion, the hope, the despair that it imparts on a persons sense of being. Having served in the military my self I think of friends that I have lost over the years when I hear this melody.

I just remembered this particular piece of music this morning, i was watching something about the battle of the Atlantic on the idiot box and this sprang to mind and i thought of that speech molari gave, i got goosebumps watching that scene as humanity desperately fought to hold back the tide
