Babylon 5 was and will remain the best tv series ever. Comparing to the more episodic Star Trek, B5 brings more realistic story, which spams trough the entire season but not only season, if you watch all 5 seasons, each season is basically connected. I enjoyed it when i was kid, and even now in my thirties i still rewatch it every year at least once. Even if they made reboot of B5, it will never be the same. Sure you can have new cast playing the main characters, but nobody can really replace them. Andreas Kastulas was one and only G'Kar, Mira Furlan Deleen... New younger generations will claim otherwise, that you can have new actors playing those characters, sure you can, but that won't be the same.

A lot of the late-1920/early-1930's generations in this show. I never realized how many of them were that old. Now it makes sense to see so many gone to the great beyond. With a few odd ones that had too short a life. Thanks for this video. Each year more and more are leaving us beyond. I hope Straczynski manages this new series and that it'll do homage to the original and not a perversion like many remakes/reboot of the last 8 years. 18 years separated the end of Startrek and the beginning of TNG... B5 ended in '99, we're overdue. Godspeed !

It's somewhat surprising to see how many main characters have passed away. That somehow makes one appreciate TNG again. TNG is even 7 years older than Babylon 5 (1994 vs. 1987). With Picard Season 3, we had another nice closure for the entire crew. That's something we will never experience with Babylon 5.

To all of them, especially the regular cast like Mira Furlan, Jerry Doyle, Andreas Katsulas, Stephen Furst and Jeff Conway, with guest stars like Paul Winfield (who portrayed Captain Clark Terrell in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan), David Warner (who portrayed photographer Keith Jennings in the 1976 movie The Omen), Malachi Throne (co-starring with Robert Wagner in It Takes a Thief and also guest starring in Star Trek The Original Series), Bernie Casey (who played in the television movie Gargoyles), Roy Dotrice (who portrayed Commissioner Simmons in Space: 1999) and Michael Ansara (who played the technomage Elric in the episode The Geometry of Shadows and Commander Kang in Star Trek The Original Series, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager). @@evertonporter7887 the series I refer to is Star Trek & its offshoot programs such as DS9. In the original ST series, George Takei ‘came out’ as gay in real life, a denial of God’s created order & male female sexuality. In the Chris Pine reboots, the new actor who fills the same role is portrayed as being in a gay ‘marriage’, in italics as God does not recognise ‘gay marriage’. The guy that plays Spock, Zachary Quinto, is homosexual in real life. Added to this, he clearly states in one of the reboot movies, that God’s miracles do not exist. A further denial of God. That Yeltsin guy died at an early age, the first of many who will meet an untimely demise, as recorded by Jonasbarbury comment above ‘So many of them died relatively young’.
