I truly think Babylon 5 wouldn't have been the same without the actors for Londo and G'Kar. They always give such great performances.
@matthewteague62310 ай бұрын
There's a good 10-15 actors that, if you replaced them, I don't think you could have captured the lightning in the bottle that is B5. Londo and G'Kar are of course, exhibits B and A, respectively. But can you see anyone else, pull off the role of Delenn a tenth as well as Mira Furlan? Or imagine anyone other than Claudia Christian as Ivanova? Or imagine someone else managing Vir other Stephen Furst? Or imagine a better Morden than Ed Wasser? Or imagine a better Bester than Walter Koenig? Or imagine someone other than Patricia Tallman pulling off the role of Lyta Alexander? It just goes on and on for me.

It says something to how much B5 was flying so much under the mainstream cultural radar that Andreas Katsulas didn't get nominated for a Supporting Actor Emmy. He truly should have been. But the show, and everyone involved, was shut out for nominations for its entire run. This show was the closest either Katsulas or Peter Jurasik ever got to unleash their inner Shakespeareans-- and under a ton of makeup, no less.

I should make a soundboard of this guy for when scammers call me. "Who are you?" "I'm calling about upgrading your phone" "Incorrect answer. Who are you?" As for season 1, I think it's far better than a lot of ans say, but that mostly applies to re-watches when you know what those episodes are foreshadowing. You can see the clues dropped in those early episodes for what's to come but most of them go over your head on the first watch.
