Babymetal just brings it everytime and you never know what you will get from them. I love them. Another banger from them for sure here.

Su mentioned in an interview long ago that she is interested in Egypt, which I think is the reason we've seen Egyptian elements in their stage props, costumes (the elf warrior outfits) and most recently their new song Metalizm. There is a great video guide to BABYMETAL by CrypticMisery called "Everything You Need To Know About BABYMETAL - A BABYMETAL Guide (UPDATED)".

Great reaction. BABYMETAL going Bollywood. A lot of the Metal Galaxy album was about exploring and paying homage to different cultures and their musical styles - in this instance they went to India. Shanti is a Sanskrit word meaning peace - repeated 3 times it means peace in thought, word and deed (or in body mind and spirit perhaps). Of course Su-metal masters yet another vocal style at her first attempt. Never doubt her abilities to do that. The video editor definitely got far too carried away with the kaleidoscope effects - live performances are much better where those are limited to the big screen behind them so we can appreciate the effort they put into getting the choreography just right (as has been confirmed by dancers with an Indian heritage). CrypticMisery's "Everything you need to know about Babymetal" guide would be a great way to learn more about them ... and we will watch a reaction if you do one (it won't be short, some people have split it into two or three parts).

Su is in my opinion a uniquely passionate, talented and exciting singer. Saying she always sings perfectly wouldn't be true, I think some have gotten unrealistic expectations from post-processed live concerts. However, she does sing very well and I don't know of any other singer who constantly challenge themselves to adapt their singing to fit different styles. Every artist I know of, except Su, always sings in the same way and instead adapt songs to their style. Also, it must be difficult to sing accurately on a super loud stage.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。"Musical diversity" is what BABYMETAL are always pursuing. This song has been welcome by many people with Indian background. I am sure Team BABYMETAL is happy to see that. I can imagine how diligently the songwriter, choreographer, Su / Moa, and Kamis tried to understand and study Indian music and dance moves. They took a risk of being called "fake" or "cheap copy" of Indian music whereas they really wanted to create their own metal music with comfortable Indian flavor paying their due respect to the culture. This song was premiered in 2019. Now in 2023, they are performing a song with Arabic taste, "Metalizm".

Nice reaction. Since they started so young. Amuse their talent agency did a fantastic job of keeping their private lives very private. But we have learned a few things over the years about them. Su likes to walk around her neighborhood and take photos of things that catcher eye. Would be great to see that published someday. Su's mom works with jewelry and Her dad was a bass player in a rock band way back in the day. While she was an idol. IMO, I don't think she was completely unaware of rock or metal because of that. Yui seems to come from a family of some means and got her dance lessons early. Moa is an only child and a total foodie. Which we all can relate to food she likes from America. She couldn't decide which she wanted more. Burgers, fried Chicken, pizza light up eyes. Momoko is a great all-around talent. And a lady with vision for herself. While in Sakura Gakuin. The idol group the rest of Babymetal started out together in. She said she wanted to be a dancer for a big named artist. Which she got to do as one of the avenger dancers for Babymetal. She also later said while still in Sakura Gakuin she wanted to be a member of Babymetal. Which everyone thought was funny including her because Yui was still in Babymetal at the time. But with hard work and talent. Momoko put herself in position to get promoted from avenger dancer to full fledged member of Babymetal.

Nice reaction, thanks! As you can see BABYMETAL does never hesitate to mix any music genre with metal even any sort of folk music, Indian this time. Not only that, they aso do it paying huge respect for the cultures they blend on every song. Not to mention the accuracy on the harmonic scales and even on the choreo they implement. Until next time!

_Accha accha accha acchaaa_ 🦊🤘🔥 Glad to see you're back with this song. This journey to Metal Galaxy on their 3rd album got a lot of songs picking up rhythms from all over the world and combine with the unique sound of BM. Shanti Shanti Shanti got a clear Indian influence and elements, others songs got folk metal or latin rhythms, or Thai rap, so this journey is wild. Thee third backup dancer or _avenger_ is Kano Fujihira, just remember none of them got official name revealed and aren't official members, but that status change recently with MomoMetal. They do interviews and talked about the songs and everything related to the album, you won't find so much about their private life because they did this role persona to protect them from public exposure. MoaMetal talked about this saying it was one of the hardest choreo to match up and get in sync with every one of the avenger, especially at Legend Metal Galaxy when all the avengers switch up in the same show (also taking it a break) while Moa performing the full set. But it was a great experience for her, YuiMetal was also known as the "angel of dance" and she was the most technical among them, Moa took this challenge after she left and focus on this dance aspect learning a lot from the experience with the avengers and backup dancers before them. If you wanna know more about them i highly suggest you to to check it out "A BabyMetal Guide" by CrypticMisery, you'll get the basics and something about what they like or don't, at least until 2021. Keep enjoying your journey with more songs. See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

The skill of the girls is amazing. My guess is they are trying to break into the Indian market. You need to react to one of the BabyMetal guides and get some history and more info. Let's just say Su has been on stage since age 5, Acting and Music school, Vocal Coaches, BabyMetal is her 4th band at age 12. Super Pro.

Love, love Su-metal's 'vocal fireworks', in this song. For the 3rd album, they were exploring different 'kinds of metal'. But what probably inspired Babymetal to some extend: Bloodywood. They are a metal band from India which is getting more popular, metal from India wasn't really popular or that well known around the world before them. We know when they were just little girls they would do some Yoga, because an American actor that was part of the Ijime, Dame, Zettai MV has mentioned this. Yoga and Buddhism are part of Japanese culture, but originated in India. So they have an affinity with the country in that sense. Su-metal and Moametal love to travel and try different food around the world. Moametal seems to really like German food, when it comes to foreign food. But so far no real German traditional influences in Babymetal music. 🙂

For me, the most interesting part of the whole Babymetal.- as pop/metal idols schtick - is that very little is known about the personal lives of Su and Moa (and Yui and now Momoko) outside of their idol characters in Sakura Gakuin. I consider this refreshing because I/we enjoy their music/choreo dance/theatrics/live shows without really owning parts of their lives outside their Babymetal personas. This is very different from what Western pop artists have to endure.. So much so that after 10+ years of being in the global limelight, asking (us) what juicy details there is to know about these ladies sounds oddly unanswerable but also admittedly refreshing.

Best of both world 🌎. Fusion of J Pop, Metal and Indian Bollywood style of music. "Shanti" means Peace ✌️ in Sanskrit. Sometimes, 'Om' is said once and Shanti is repeated thrice after that. Shanti is repeated thrice since it is chanted for peace in the body, mind and spirit. ... Good reactions as usual👊🏽⚡️This song was on their album ‘Metal Galaxy’. This album had a lot of different cultural music that was mixed into the metal. The song, ‘Night night burn’ has a Latin flavor. The song I think you both reacted to already, ‘Oh majnai’ had a European folk flavor.. For info on the inspiration for Babymetal songs in general there isn’t a lot of hints made public. The producer Koba-metal does give the occasional interview..🤘🏾🦊

Although Metal Galaxy is my least favourite of their albums, it really showed their ability to adapt to all different genres, as they explored Indian, Latin, rap, and more. Given that you've now done Shanti, you should check out Metalizm from the new album, since it is heavily influenced by Middle Eastern melodies.

They are Babymetal guides, the best being on Cryptic miserys channel, but for the personal stuff? Unlucky. This is Japan not the " my life on film" west. Their lives are very private , at best you'll get where they were born. All other stuff will be them in performance mode.? Why? Well it's probably because it's none of our business. 😂😂😂 See you next time. 🦊🦊💥🦊🦊

Hey guys wish you had reacted to a LIVE performance of this great song instead of the MV. Like most BabyMetal MV’s Koba (or someone) gets carried away and overproduces the video. Waaaaay too much kaleidoscope that hides the amazing Bollywood choreography of the girls. And of course no shots of the Kami’s. On your own watch a LIVE performance of Shanti Shanti Shanti as I th ink you will thoroughly enjoy it.

If you enjoyed that, check out “Metalizm” from their latest album. It has a middle-eastern flavour to it and sounds phenomenal. Babymetal’s musical diversity has no boundaries and they do whatever they want and it always works so well ❤ The album “Metal Galaxy” was pretty much a deep dive into all sorts of different music and mix it with the typical Babymetal metal style (if that exists lol). If you want to know more about Babymetal, the Kami band and their lore, you should defo check out the Babymetal guide by CrypticMisery! It’s about 45 minutes long but totally worth it!
