Nice one. Legend MM - two nights in Yokohama (Momoko's home town) on 2nd March (20 Night) and 3rd March (21 Night). Her 21st birthday was 3rd March, so 2nd March was the last chance for her to sing the 20 version of 'Headbanger' (20 being the official age of majority in Japan ... just as the original 'Headbanger' is about a girl on her 15th birthday with 15 being the end of compulsory education and an end to childhood in effect). Right before this performance there was a lot of lore that related to Momoko's life and journey to this moment, all the lights turned pink (including all the bracelets everybody in the crowd were wearing) and Momometal came down from way up in the ceiling in a sort of flying saucer or something. I'm sure there are videos around taken from the Wowow broadcast showing that (clearly this complication/compilation started after that).🦊🤘

So, the story with this concert is that it was one of their two night shows, and there were two named performances with different setlists. The two shows were: March 2nd - "20 Night": They performed Momobanger march 3rd - "21 Night": They performed Momo Taro! Momo turned 21 on the 3rd of March, so April 2nd when they played Momobanger was the last day that Momoko was 20 years old as the lyrics say. On 21 Night on Momo's actual birthday they played a special Momometal version of Meta Taro! I was at Legend MM and I had a great view of Momobanger as I was right in front of the stage extension. I was there bowing to Momo with everyone else. It was an amazing show full of rarely performed songs and great surprises. They gave us each a special bracelet that lit up in different colours at various times during the show.

_Hatachi No Yoru O_ 🦊🤘🔥 The moment we all have been waiting to celebrate another unique live concert. Momoko Okazaki fought for this and she finally made it. Momo born 3/3/03, and her magical number is 3 just like the trio group she was meant to be part of. Her favorite fruit and the one we use to represent her is the peach 👉🍑 She sang this in April 2 at Legend MM - "20 Night" in Yokohama Arena, so she's still got 20 by that moment. The day after, "21 Night", during her birthday she sang a different song called Meta Taro renamed like this as "Momo Taro" along with a different setlist and very few songs repeated. They released this as a live viewing recently and finally we got this proshot clip. If you wonder why they didn't this last year is because she wasn't an official member yet and everyone was busy with the live concert for April 1st (Fox Day) called BM Begins The Other One - PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, when she became an official member, just to be clear MM stand for Minato Mirai which is the place in Yokohama they were doing this. MomoMetal definitely surprised everyone with this scream and growling but she did show a little bit of her skills when performing the live version of METALI!! although it is very clear she is using a backing track. Either way she's making a remarkable job when doing this performance and I'm pretty sure she's making all BM fans happy with her charisma and cuteness. Btw there are leaked photos when they traveled on tour and you can see the girls with Momo's father almost like a bodyguard lol Btw they also changed the choreo when doing a two and zero with their hands instead of 1 and 5 from the usual dance choreo, they did this also at Legend M 2019 and Legend S 2017. I love how Momo's growl is quite brutal while her singing voice is extra kawaii! I've watched "Momobanger" many times, and I'm still blown away every time! I also love how she sang the song in her own style as well as her own dance movements! We are blessed to have her in BABYMETAL! 🤘🦊🤘

Thanks again for sharing your enthusiasm. As a 59 yo Babymetal fan, I sometimes feel like a lonesome weirdo in real life, so I need to see that there are others like me, at least on the net. This feels like Momo's last rite of passage on her way to becoming a Full BM member. There are a number of things I love to about this performance, not least the cheers of the crowd and Su's reassuring smile as Momo gets up to take the mic. And she does wonderful job. It is said that Su loves the moments when she does not need to worry about Singing and just dances. Her voice lets us overlook sometimes that she is a very sharp dancer. Dad and daughter wearing Nightwish shirts - downright adorable❤.

The kanji character for "momo" in her name is the one for "100", not the one for "peach", but "peach" has been a nickname for her, even before her Sakura Gakuin days. Even if you don't react to it, you should find the animated introduction for 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' from this concert. It's definitely worth watching. There's also an animated intro for the special version of 'Meta Taro' that was performed on the second night (21) of LEGEND MM.

Nice reaction, thanks! But I have to say that the "live complication" doesn't do justice to the actual performance (no offense, SG_LOVE). Also I consider fancam footage an insult to the artists and to the people who watch them. Not to mention that it was illegal to take pics or video on that particular concert (I don't know if that applies in all concerts in Japan). You also missed the kamishibai (intro with lore) and the scene of Momoko descending to the stage from the roof of the freaking arena in a sort of saucer. Anyway, the "Momobanger" was the (expected) highlight of the first Legend MM concert (20 Night) and the "Momotaro" ("Meta Taro" with Momoko leading) the crazy and unexpected highlight of the second one (21 Night). I was there and these shows are probably my best concert experiences in life (and I've seen a thing or two, hehe...). 🤘🦊

It seems to be the WOWOW Version (japanese Pay-TV) if i undersrood it correctly recordings will be shows in japanese cinemas) they had to work with Tricks. The original song was the first visit of a 15 year old girl zo a metal concert. For Su' s and Moa's 20 Birthday (according to japanese law full adulthood) They changed the text to 20. But in fact Momo got 20 a year before, this was the last night when she was still 20 and the next Day it was her 21st birthday.as we saw Momo has lesrned to growl. So if further songs contain growls Iexpect that it will be Momos growls. And as she demonstrated she can sing it is msinly the question how Well will she harmonise with Moa.But I think the next Album will answer this question. After Leave it all behind they are in a pretty Solid position right now. We will have to See if the FoxFest will lead to New Collabs or at least contracts for New songs.
