I think Moa should sing Headbanger after the solo in every performance. We'd love to listen to her voice more often. Hopefully she has a bigger role vocally in the 4th album.

I think they should at least do Black Babymetal songs again with Moa and whatever avenger they're doing, it may never be as good as Moa and Yui but Kiss's Detroit Rock City is still a banger even after Tommy Thayer replaced Ace Frehley on guitar. And Sis Anger will still be hot with Riho, Momoko, or Kano. The way it currently is, you could close your eyes and be able to listen to a whole concert not even knowing Moa is there.

@@purchasingdistrict1086 Moa did a Black Babymetal song at the last two Budokan performances. She wasn't demoted, but the last couple of years have been very difficult and brought about a lot of change for the whole group. They couldn't immediately incorporate solo songs after Yui left so they stuck with Su and Moa and the Avengers. Moa had extra responsibilities of teaching the dancers too. I think the change was what was needed at the time. And now it seems like solos might be coming back. One thing we know about Babymetal is that they will continue to evolve and innovate, so even if we don't like their current system it'll probably change not far down the track

Maybe it was Moa herself who wanted a break from solo singing. We don't know, we only speculate . Moa, Su and Yui have been together years before Babymetal was even written on paper. Su and Moa are very close friends. Even if it is a Idol-Style group, it is handled very differently as AKB48 for example. Yui was never "replaced" by someone else till now. They could have tried that out, but they did not do it, because the bond of those three was so strong. That fact alone shows that with Babymetal the company is doing something different, as with normal Idol Groups. Babymetal is more popular outside of Japan, than in Japan itself. That's why they tour so often in Europe and America. Another reason why the management is not that strict of Idol like behavior. But what people should not forget is, that Babymetal was build around the voice powerhouse Suzuka Nakamoto. Moa and Yui can sing, but not on Sus level of performance and not for long. So I think it is not right to talk about a demotion, or a punishment for Moa, if she did not break some major rules of behavior. And trust me, if she would have done it we would know it for sure by the japanese media. A lot of Idols have been roasted there for breaking minor or major rules of their contracts.

@@SkipEtchells I don't think that she'll come back. I think the Avengers are just really the best solution for now, without completely replacing Yui. But also, I think a partial reason as to why the Avengers don't sing, is bc BM dances are hardcore. Su and Moa have developed some crazy high amount of stamina over the years. So for one new member to catch up to them in dancing alone AND then having enough stamina to deliver a stable vocal performance while doing those intense dances, even if Koba wanted to do that, it would have taken a much longer time to achieve than the window they had between the new 3 girl formation and the time the Avengers started training. Unless they found an idol who already had crazy stamina. But usually girl idol choreographies aren't as hardcore as Babymetal's choreos. You could see during Glastonbury, when they did RoR, Riho was flushed, out of breath and sweating by the end of the song, while Moa looked like she didn't do any exercise at all. The other reason why I think the Avengers won't sing is bc it's probably difficult logistically. Unless they made one Avenger permanent or made each Avenger only perform a set selection of songs, I don't see that happening.

There is still hope and we all would be happy if yui shows up again. As long as they dont replace her completely or do something else about it, it will allways feel that there is a gap need to be filled. You know what i mean? It looks like they hold this role open for someone. We all will be sure when yui comes back. Back to Babymetal or as a solo artist. But at least we would like to know if shes ok. There were no news about her since 2018.

@@SkipEtchells yeah, I understand you. We can only speculate anyway. But I'd also understand Yui, if she decided to stay private. Maybe she really enjoys not being in the entertainment industry. And if she does have health problems that kept her away for so long before her last official announcement, it may well be for the best if she stays out of it and everyone's opinions. I'm kinda scared for her, if she does come back. I am sure there are those fans who would be angry that she left & were provided with barely any knowledge about her whatsoever. I just don't want the poor girl to be bombarded and feel stressed.

She might not want to. She has been very devoted to her dancing lately, and has been working hard to improve, develop her style and teach the Avengers. And she's never expressed that she's particularly interested in singing. That being said, she did perform Onedari Daisakusen solo at the 2 concerts last week so who knows where they'll go in the future

@@SarahSacz not sure if it's fully lipsync, I feel that for their older songs she does not lipsync but has a backing vocal for support. While in the latest album some is lipsync(maybe?) But her Mic is on but the playback is loud, but lately you can clearly hear her voice at shanti shanti shanti, and some other songs from the 3rd album. Also I read somewhere that she is more devoted to dancing, that explains why she does not sing some words or just lipsync some parts.

Eh, they probably have some creative control to what they do. Although they do not choreograph their songs, they have spoken in interviews on the ways in which they have contributed to the choreos. The idol industry is pretty fucked, though.

Regarding GJ! The lyrics in the verses were changed. The original song van be found on the Limited Edition Metal Resistance set. When the single was performed Live, the verses were rewritten to be more audience friendly
