Let the Metal Kingdom come! 🙌 "NotACult" 🦊🤘👑 This is why BabyMetal have no match among any other Japanese artists, top notch worldwide. Many others are finding Game Of Thrones resemblance on this stage setup, it just looks insane. The ten apostles are holding crossiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol "OO"♾️ and is the title of this album. The girls are carrying some kind of trident similar to the Spear Of Destiny or Lance Of Longinus from Evangelion anime series, if you know MoaMetal you know you gotta be careful with her. 🔱 Here's some official info about this song: METAL KINGDOM (THRONE) "It is a powerful anthem ushering in the beginning of a new era while also representing the power and courage to step forward into uncharted territory. The track conveys imagery of one rising powerfully from the throne of silence, with a suitable fanfare announcing this new beginning." Ending January at Makuhari Messe, they held two big live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they met up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production. SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. Those freaking cinematic drone shots make you feel like you're in a movie. There's also a dance choreo version performed first outside of Japan during this recent World Tour and some fans witnessed this even more gorgeous performance, later they did it in their own country at an exclusive show only for fans. This is a live proshot version but with studio album sound, we already got a live sound version with the WOWOW broadcast and the released DVD/BD version of BM Begins TOO live at PIA Arena MM, now with the three girls together on stage. We got so many big news and announcements back then, a new official member was announced to come next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama, if you don't know MomoMetal was the one blessed by the Fox God as a new official member. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, they got new songs exclusive for them and already did live concerts. Her Majesty the Queen encouraged the people of the Metal Kingdom to embark on a new journey to freedom. The concert of the new BABYMETAL started with this song. We sang loudly together, it was an amazing experience! I was so happy 😁

Great reaction. This was at the Makuhari Messe 'BABYMETAL Returns' concerts at the end of January 2023 - their first live shows in nearly 2 years, finally marking the end of their hiatus. 'Metal Kingdom' is the anthemic opening track and intro for the album they were going to release in March and also the intro for a new era of BABYMETAL that they were about to reveal - so of course they used it for the epic theatrical opening for their long awaited return to live shows. They pulled all the stops out for these shows too with the two main stages at either side of the arena - giant Fox gates which initially hid the thrones from view on one, Kami Band set up on the other - and joining the two stages was the walkway cutting the arena in half with the audience in either side. On the walkway two moving stages that travelled along the length of the walkway as well as rising up and down.

Great reaction, thanks! "METAL KINGDOM" is the anthemic opening of their latest album, The Other ONE. And this music video combines the studio version of the audio over the visuals from the BABYMETAL Begins concerts held at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center in late January 2023. You are right, their concerts, especially on arena-size formats in Japan are something else. There is a lot of time, effort and money invested there. They are like plays or movies and for sure, quite an experience. Although they actually don't need all that and they are touring with big success, in smaller venues when they tour worldwide. But yes, we all want the Blu-rays from the big ones and go to see one of them in person some day. 😁 Until next time! 🤘🦊

I was at the concert where this was filmed (Babymetal Returns) and the video doesn't actually show the full spectacle of the entrance they did for this performance. The show began with the 10 figures processing down the central aisle of the arena as lights pulsed from one end to the other towards the two great doors that stood at one end of the hall emblazoned with fox heads on them. Eventually, the 10 figures gathered in the middle of the arena and raised their staves towards the doors and the foxes eyes shone with red light that pierced the length of the arena. Then the doors began to open and bright white light and effects smoke poured out. When the doors fully opened, the three thrones you see in the video slid forward into the arena, with Su and Moa seated on two of them, and the third was empty (this was before Momoko had officially become Momometal). At that point is where the actual video begins. It was a ludicrously elaborate and spectacular entrance, and yet it's not their most epic one. The entrance they did at Legend S for "In The Name Of" is probably one of the most epic entrances done by anyone, anywhere, ever. The stage setup was that there were stages at either end of the hall, and there was a raised platform running down the middle of the hall between them, with the audience on either side. Running along the platform down the middle was the round elevated stage on hydraulics that could move the full length of the hall and lift about 25 feet into the air. It was a crazy stage design. Also, not a bad performance on Su's part. This was her first live show in eighteen months, and the first time she ever performed this song live.

Babymetal spares no expense to give their fans (The One) the best possible experience, especially for the big shows in Japan. What other band sacrifices probably 1000 tickets to plug in that huge walkway from one end of the arena to the other side with 2 moving stages that go back and forth and up and down. Plus, the set for "Metal Kingdom" with the thrones that is only used for that specific song? That's why Babymetal is not only the best live band but also loved so much by their fans.
