If you want to know more about Su-metal's technique, The Charismatic Voice did a reaction/analysis for Akatsuki when Su-metal was 16.

A new single called Mirror Mirror is coming soon along with the album release, also they announced a World Tour including Asia, Australia and US Festival like Blue Ridge, Louder Than Life and Aftershock, so hopefully you'll get the chance to see them live, is gonna be a fantastic year for BM fans. This Piano version just keep melting my heart, i can't get enough of SuMetal and her beautiful vocals. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time 🦊🤘🌈

Indeed, listening to this version, as the lyrics suggest, one's colorless and lonely heart is enveloped in warm and beautiful colors, making one feel very tender. The three girls in the chorus wearing white capes who appear in the middle of the song may symbolize the young BABYMETAL. I am moved by the beautiful and strong bond between the girls as they hold each other's small hands with all their might. It almost brings tears to my eyes. We fans are overjoyed by the miracle of BABYMETAL 😭😊 We are truly happy.

She said during their break she was able to sing 8-10 hours a day because she did not have to worry about hurting her voice
@autohmae Жыл бұрын
She is a beast, she said in the past she would do Karaoke by herself or with her sister Himetan until they are hoarse. So I guess that's what she's doing now too or maybe she can just last that long without a problem ?
@chrisharris1522 Жыл бұрын
@@autohmae I think she was always that little girl that would just be singing to herself no matter what she was doing, and yeah those girls have amazing stamina, the first time I watched Legend Metal Galaxy, they switched out The Avengers after just a few songs and they all looked tired yet Moa did the whole show and still looked fresh at the end.
@autohmae Жыл бұрын
@@chrisharris1522 Babymetal in 2015 learned a trick: don't go full out the whole show, it's impossible to keep 100% for a whole show, so they can choose moments where they go 120%. The avengers needed stamina and learn how to do that. Riho at Glastonbury is a great example

Nice reaction. Wait until you see them perform live. You'll understand even more how special this performance is. Su and Moa standing still for a whole song is a minor miracle. Showing all these years later that they can still surprise even their biggest fans.

Not sure why (I think it's not one reason) but Babybmetal just hits in the feels, they really are something special. Really looking forward to the album in a few days (from what I hear other songs are heavier)

What I find even more amazing is when they went on their hiatus, I figured they would be working on new content almost the entire time. But then in a recent interview, Su and Moa both admitted that this Hiatus was actually something they were planning about 5 years ago, even with Yui was still in the group. They just decided to wait until their 10th year anniversary to take the hiatus, so it had nothing to do with covid. It was just coincidental that covid was around during this hiatus period. What I find amazing is when they first started their break, both Su and Moa decided to forget everything Babymetal and just focus on being regular people more or less. This was also a "test" for them to see how much Babymetal actually meant to them as well. So this went on for a few months before they finally realized that they missed and needed Babymetal as much as we the fans need them. Su then stated that this new chapter of Babymetal is a rediscovering of themselves. They wanted to reinvent themselves in a way. This is why so far these songs sound so much more mature I think. Anyhow, what I am trying to say in a very longwinded, poorly worded way is that not only does she sound even MORE powerful somehow, but she didn't even really WORK to get better as much as we'd all would have thought! It's a bit mindblowing for me...

SU has all the piercing clarity required to deliver amazing vocals through a wall of thunderous guitars, bass, double kick drums, and whatever the hell else exists in an arena of metal. You strip all of that noise away though and its just THAT voice shooting emotional lyrics straight into your heart. It's almost too pure a hit. It's almost too perfect.

I wouldn't complain if they played this version at their concert, I think I would prefer it really.

for someone who totally missed them the first time around and having just discovered them in the last year, i totally understand what you are saying. i am so happy to get to experience them in real time and this song, this performance totally took my breath away. that is saying something from me, at 76 having seen so many live from the 60's into today it is hard to really impress me. this impressed me and i want to see them live so bad! btw, you talked about their emotion in the video, your emotion was on full display while you watched, too. ♥

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。Su and Moa proved that they could do anything. They have forced people to headbang with their heavy music and sharp choreo. Now they can depict various images by just singing and project them into the listeners' brain to move people emotionally. Thank you BABYMETAL. And thank you Koba for your serendipity. Some 13 years ago, you certainly discovered something amazing and sacred for us.

FYI Redsun, BabyMetal will be dropping a new song called (Mirror Mirror) from their new album in the next 48 hours. It should be heavier than the last four drops. Su and Moa's voices are maturing and I can't wait to see where this goes. Thanks for the Reaction.

Great reaction and trust me I have the same reaction every time I listen to that version of Monochrome (probably with more tears shed 😂) I was thinking the same, how can Su’s voice sound so much better than in the studio recording, but given that they started working on it 5 years ago, it makes sense. She still has that unique, powerful voice but is able to express so much more emotions now, it is unbelievable! And see Moa being so emotional and trying to keep it together makes it even more emotional. Either way fantastic song that shows that Babymetal is still top notch! 🤘🔥🦊
