I got to see Babymetal in OKC the day after Thanksgiving and the show was Fantastic!! This was my first concert since 1982 when I went and saw the Beach Boys at the Zoo Amphitheater!! LoL!! Can't wait to see them again!! Put your Kitsune UP!!

of course you have to watch their concert again... but maybe for an even more interesting adventure you should watch the concert in their home country directly... because it will always remain in your memory with the magnificence of the stage and the extraordinary enthusiasm of the audience... you will feel in another world...see you next time friends...🦊🦊🦊

Great, now you can relate with us when we try to explain how we feel seeing them live . Great set list they performed Timewave 2nd night at the Roundhouse in London 2023 so good live, and Matali is a must. Did you get low or where you pointed out 😮 happy you had a fun time. great review 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Really glad you enjoyed it, Babymetal is clearly not the regular metal experience, but what they do deliver is amazing if you enjoy such a thing. If only a few people do the Pa Pa Ya twirling or whatever you want to call it... that means a LOT of first timers there or more casual fans. When I think of Babymetal Death, ,I often thing of the first time Babymetal went on world tour in 2014 (when they were just kids, 15, 15 and 16), would be at a metal festival and open with Babymetal Death and lots of metal fans who are there mostly out of curiosity really take notice. 🙂It's proper heavy. Yes, I do think metal music is meant to be an audio sensory overload and Babymetal does it for the visuals as well. And 1 of the amazing things they can make it work on a small stage and a huge stage with all the stage production. Part of it is actually also stage presence, because these are tiny Japanese ladies, but they are huge on stage.

Great to hear that the show lived up to your expectations. There isn't really any other live show like Babymetal. It's not that long, but it's pedal to the metal from start to finish. You can usually judge how many hardcore Babymetal fans there are at a show by how many people are waving towels during Pa Pa Ya! Generally, they will be concentrated front and center where the most dedicated kitsunes situate themselves. The set you saw is pretty typical of their touring set. Generally the start and the finish are pretty much the same, and they mix up a few of the songs in the middle. They only recently started playing Time Wave a bit more often, so you got a bit of treat getting to see that one live.

Great review! We said it all the time, BABYMETAL is best served live 😉 It´s so amazing to actually see them live, doing what they are doing. Back then I had no idea how amazing they are live, right in front of me. I got it last year, you got it last month 😉 I watched some YT shorts, including Madison. This tour looked like genuine fun, at every location they played. You asked for our favourites... there´s a saying among BABYMETAL fans... "my favourite BABYMETAL song? The one I´m just listening to" 🤣 They are just great!

Outstanding. I'm glad you got to see them live. I finally saw them for the first time in Raleigh, NC last month. So much fun. I enjoyed Scene Queen also. Got in the mosh pit for SQ. First time moshing too.

I'm a little surprised by what you said about Pa Pa Ya. At all the shows I have been to in Europe, at least from the front where I was standing, I always had the impression that pretty much everyone was participating in the towel waving. I know that BABYMETAL have had an influx of new fans recently, but still the majority must be older fans, I would think. Are we slacking off? Tst tsk...

I had heard from the comments that in the US that not everyone participates in the towel wave. And that was mostly true here. I was really the odd one out waving my towel lol but I knew BABYMETAL appreciated it 🤟
