I agree the Japanese are world famous for not just standing there & speaking the words. They experience the song. Its common for them to burst into tears in the middle of the song. There's no halfway with the Japanese people. They're either 100% into something or 100% not. They're absolutely truthful & reliable.

I am born in 1975. My first contact with metal was a tape recorded by Iron Maiden in 1986 of the album Somewhere in time and on the other side Powerslave. I fell in love with metal and I fell in love with Iron Maiden whose fan I am to this day. It was a mystical experience. Since then I have he discovered metal, bands, styles and I consider myself one of the most faithful metalists today. Why am I writing this? When I discovered Babymetal, I felt the same mystical experience as I did in 1986 with IM. It had never happened to me until now. I fell in love with their music, lyrics,I fell in love with Su,Yui and Moa. I fell in love with their songs and concerts. Thanks Babymetal!!

Man, X Japan really did so much for Japanese rock/metal. I actually started by listening to Babymetal in 2018, but then I found X Japan in 2019 and immediately understood why the guy who creates and writes Babymetal is such a big fan, it's cool that Babymetal has kind of carried the torch and evolved :)

I don't know why but since 2024 started I've been obsessed with this song, specially this performance (even though my favorite one comes from the Legend S show). It always makes me tear up. There's so much nuance in her performance that it just makes me emotional. There's something so deeply moving about watching talented people doing what they're the best at. Su-metal will go down in history as one of the greatest performers in the music industry. I have no doubts.

This song is so beautiful. It truly made me cry, and I’m still tearing up even now. My goodness, Su-Metal being capable of not crying during songs with this much emotion (for example, her singing Graduation Toss with Sakura Gakuin) is amazing. I wonder if it is a skill she had to master or if it is a God given talent, but regardless, she’s a wonderful singer through and through. My heart hurts when I look at her face while she sings this. I wonder if she dedicated this song to Yui-Metal in her heart. It’s so painful but beautiful to listen to the song when having this interpretation. Either way, she made me cry, and that’s one mark of an incredible singer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that as of today, only 2 bands have crossed the language barrier and become popular around the globe; one sings in German, Rammstein, the other, in Japanese, Babymetal. I mean, I know there are several others out there that also do it, like Die Toten Hosen for example, but they haven't really taken off all over the planet. And yet, I think Babymetal should be even more known globally than they are.
