Sabaton opened for BABYMETAL for a few arena concerts back in October 2018. Joachim even joined BABYMETAL on stage during 'Meta Taro' for the Dark Carnival show.

I saw them in London last Sunday - and the whole set was so good, this one (among others of course) had the whole crowd jumping round like idiots and singing along, great fun.

This song clearly has a bunch of influences. Live the audience goes crazy pretty much as much as Pa Pa Ya. Their current European shows are so much fun ! Love the setlist, really hype

Thought WTF? when I first heard this and thought the same when I saw the video...then I saw Babymetal live on the 20th February (only 6 days ago and it still feels like a dream) and the song, like everything they did that night, was excellent. They looked so happy and were dancing around (that jig is Irish, not Russian, I'm sure) with huge smiles while all of us in the crowd manically chanted "Nai nai nai, nai nai nai, nai nai nai....." and there's that lead singer of Sabaton projected behind them...crazy fun! Looks like you're watching some fan cam film from the European tour, which my Cardiff gig was part of. Great reaction again!

I only found out Joakim did the male vocals to this song the day after the Sabaton-concert I went to. I do like the musical references they use here, but even though, it's only place 3 on my ranking for this album. Number 1 would be Distortion with Allyssa White-Gluz, because it has the best balance between the Kami-Band and the vocals (its just powerful). Number 2 is Kagerou, for similar reasons.

Nope, not for me. Yes, the dancing is fun, yes it seems to be a fan favourite live but I would rather have virtually anything from either of the first 2 albums. I actually skip past this when in the car, and PaPaYa and Elevator girl. Sorry, seems that all the ones you mention you like, I don't. That's what makes us all different I suppose. The only three I really like are Shanti, Kagerou and I love BxMxC. At least they play all those three on the current tour.

Nope. I know the supposed sentiment behind certain of those songs, (Yui leaving, Mikio's death) though to my knowledge, none of the rumours have been confirmed. If there is another track I can actually listen to it would be Arkadia. I'm not taking anything away from the girls, band, production team etc and their 100% effort it's just that those tracks don't do anything for me personally, and that's after seeing most of these new tracks live, twice

@@laughingbuddha2948 Sorry for having an opinion. I was responding to a reaction, I thought that what reaction channels were for. When I said rumors have not been confirmed, I didn't mean the actual events didn't occur, I meant the rumors about the song Starlight. About it being a tribute to Mikio, about it being released the same day Yui made her statement. As far as I know, and I don't claim to everything, those rumors have never been confirmed. If you can point me to a statement saying the song was written for Mikio then I apologize. Nothing I wrote was meant to be disrespectful. The follow up wasn't a statement, it was an answer to a specific question asked by Jed Dahnke. One other thing, I know nobody cares what I think, do you realise the same? Also, saying something is pure fun is just an opinion.
