When i hear the Metallica in the background before the reaction i am sure you are going to love this. They do that intro before both Rondo and Catch Me If You Can. The drummer is Hideki Aoyama. He's a beast. If you want more like this Akatsuki is their most similar song. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWOWaGV5arV9gq8 BABYMETAL - AKATSUKI「紅月アカツキ」BLACK NIGHT HD1080p

If you are interested..This song is composed as a "Rondo"..if you listen to it closely you will understand..Not the intro..The song.* *Definition of rondo 1 : an instrumental composition typically with a refrain recurring four times in the tonic and with three couplets in contrasting keys 2 : the musical form of a rondo used especially for a movement in a concerto or sonata

Great reaction - that is the Kami Band showing just why they are called the Kami band (it means the God band as in Gods of guitar, bass and drums) and Su-metal showing off just some of her own extraordinary talent. The main essence of BABYMETAL are the songs with all three girls, but they do have these other sides to what they do. Su has 4 solos (plus a couple of cover songs) including this one. 'No Rain, No Rainbow' is more like an 80s power ballad, 'Akatsuki' and 'Amore' I think you would like - there are some guitar parts in those ones too. Yui and Moa (known as 'Black BABYMETAL') also had 4 songs they would perform as a duo while Su took a break. Theirs are arguably the cutest songs - but can also have some of the heaviest instrumentation. 'Sis Anger' is a prime example of that. Their other songs are '4 No Uta' (or 'Song 4') which they wrote themselves when they were 12, 'Onedari Daisakusen' and 'GJ'.

Nice one! Thanks!! The official name of the intro song is "Mischiefs of Metal Gods" and I can see you enjoyed it so much! Glad you took your time to appreciate the intro song that showcase every single Kami Band member. Their lineup for that particular show (Live at Budokan: Black Night Apocalypse) was: Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars, BOH on bass (yes it's a 6-string bass) and Hideki Aoyama on drums. Every BABYMETAL song is different from the other, so there is no other like this one. Here is another Su's solo: Akatsuki (Live at Budokan Black Night). Some more on the "metal" side would be: Headbanger (Live at Makuhari Messe) and Ijime, Dame, Zettai (Live at Sonisphere 2014). Have fun!

Her name is Suzuka Nakamoto, Su for short, her name in Babymetal is: Su-metal. Don't care what people think (if this band is metal or not, because they perform with young girls), I just know I really like Babymetal.

@@MacTaipan After 45 years of listening to Metal (since I saw Sabbath live in 1976) and watching it become a copy of a copy of a copy...Babymetal are the best thing to happen to it ever! Actually, after seeing Su sing BxMxC live in Cardiff last week, I think she's also given Rap a kick up the ass too!

The way i like to explain it to people is the metal attitude is "You make the rules and we'll break them". "You think having young Japanese girls singing breaks the rules of metal? That is why they are more metal than you. You are worried about keeping the rules while they are breaking them". Sure when you tell traditional metal heads that Japanese girls are more metal than them 80% of them might get pissed off by it, but its the 20% that are open minded that you really want to convince anyhow. Also pissing off stuck up uptight close minded fools is fun.

@@blitzofchaosgaming6737 The way I kind of explained it sometimes: Metal is counterculture inside of general society and Babymetal is counterculture inside of metal :-)

"The waning moon shines bright, but there's a gloom of rampant madness. I hear laughing all around. It bares its fangs and its eyes gleam. There's no escape. It flickers, appearing and disappearing in my mind. A nightmarish rondo keeps repeating. The light of dawn is so far away, I have no choice but to run through the darkness." Hi Tafa! This is the video I like to show to people so they can see how good the Kami Band are! There are a pool of kamis who rotate in and out depending on availability because they all have their own bands and projects. In order of solos here we have Leda Cygnus, Takayoshi Ohmura, BOH, and Hideki Aoyama. All of the Kamis are amazing musicians. This is one of Su-Metal's (lead singer) solos, she has two on each of the first two albums. Yui and Moa have two duets on each of the first two albums as well. They do this so that during performances they can switch off and have a little bit of a break.

⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 The 'Mischief of the Metal Gods' instrumental sometimes precedes 'Rondo of Nightmare', but not always. Lyrically Rondo is probably their darkest song. It's about being trapped in a nightmare with no escape. It's one of four solo songs with just Su. Although she did also perform the song 'Kagerou' as a solo during the 2018 tour. There are also four songs with Yui and Moa performing together as Black BABYMETAL without Su.

As much as I love Babymetal, saw them live twice last year in St Paul, MN & in LA, California, hopefully you can soon react to another band from Japan? Band-Maid, they're the best "hard rock" band I've heard in 30yrs. Try anything live for a first listen. Puzzle, Turn Me On, Moratorium, Play, Secret My Lips, or Take Me Higher. Any of those would do.

@@rickwagner- oh I know. I see you everywhere, and I always appreciate your comments because it saves myself & others a lot typing, lol. Babymetal already has such a strong fanbase & gets recommended so much that I try to push Band-Maid pretty hard because "hard rock" for me has been a lost genre since Guns & Roses dissapeared & their just so damn good!!

What a beautiful song, and what a fantastic performance by everyone! Not everyone may agree with me, but I like it when reactors skip back to listen to a part again. It shows that they genuinely like it.
