I am still absolutely stunned by their new costumes. They are a huge upgrade from the ones before. The holographic fabric, the spikes in their hair, the way the skirts flow when they dance.... They are Magical Girls and no one can convince me otherwise. I could go on and on about how beautiful the girls look, these outfits are definitely my favorite. They are so Babymetal, yet so different.

Seriously! Now that Moa will *_finally_* be an adult (in Japan), Koba's going all-out. He must have a lot of faith in the album. This time a year ago, Babymetal was declared dead by the fandom. Reports of BM's death were greatly exaggerated. Only takes one show to prove they not only still have it, but they never lost it. (Yui & Mikio aside)

Very interesting that the tour ends up with two shows in Russia. They're not little shows either. They're playing the M1 arena in St Petersburg. I can't find the capacity for that place but it's a big arena gig. Similarly the show in Moscow will be an all bells and whistles affair. It's at the Adrenaline stadium which holds a capacity of 8,000. Who knew that there were that many Kitsunes in Russia?

I went to my first Babymetal show in June 2018. I was so blown away by the performance and the atmosphere. Ive never met so many friendly people at a concert. Cant wait to see you all again next february !

Seeing the covers of the discs, I realized that the costumes take the colors of these ... The first disc has red and black and the costumes also, the second has gold and black and the costumes of those years also ... And now seeing the cover of the new album and the new costumes, the reference is clearly seen.

Yesterday was so surreal, I feel like Babymetal is being resurrected. 2018 was kind of their worst year so far (even though I still think that seeing them live for the first time was the best day of my 2018 and absolutely awesome) So yesterday made me soo happy, I wasn't used to so many good news from Babymetal anymore 😅 I'm also going to try and get tickets for the Berlin show. Usually I would never travel across the country for a concert, but Babymetal is worth it. (And that one new song sounds a-m-a-z-i-n-g, I absolutely love it)

One of the best day of my life watching babymetal here in Japan (which they will not performing in my country again). Moshing, Circle Pit, Wall Of Death, it's unforgetable. And their new songs is sooo good!

Everything that happened in the last 24 hours really reinvigorated the fanbase from what I saw on reddit. There were lots of doubts after some strange decisions last year (understandable considering)...then out comes Su and Moa with a great backup dancer and totally kick ass, trio formation is back, two new amazing songs with plenty of singing for Moa (some fans theorized Koba was trying to phase her out and go with Su solo). No more muscle metal or chosen 7, no more medusa hairdo, they looked amazing with classic hair and cool outfits. The song with the India vibe was awesome. Pa Pa Ya!! was awesome live and I really enjoy it now even though it didn't click with me at first. I have tickets for the KC and Chicago shows in the US. Can't wait. And Moa is absolutely gorgeous OMG. If she doesn't do GJ in the USA I might cry though... Enjoy your shows next week, take some pics and give us updates! Have fun!

6:04 This "rainbow" effect you were trying to remember is called "Prismatic" (priz-matic). Back when I was a young teen(the 70's) everyone was putting prismatic/prism tape on everything. It was used in the 80's sci fi thriller Brainstorm as a type of mind recording video tape lol. Then they had paint that reflects light at angles in a rainbow look. My Harley is a white pearl luster and has a prismatic effect in the sunlight. Glad to see they are back to more of the BM outfits and long hair/pigtail styles. Su/Moa look amazing. Hope the fanbase welcomes the new girl who ever they may be down the road.

⚡ 💕 / 🦊 It sounds like the Yokohama concert got off to a later than scheduled start. It will be interesting to see if the setlist is any longer for the second show. Could explain the lack of solos if they were cut for time. Though I don't expect Moa solos until 'Legend M'. Cross fingers. I'm pretty excited that they are taking a more Pan Asian set of influences into their new material. Thai rap? Bollywood? And the third new song seems like it has more of a 'Road of Resistance' / 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' feel than we've seen in quite a while. They are back, and firing on all cylinders!

@Soufriere I totally don't get the negativity towards it. It's like some folks associate rap with a bunch of things they don't like, so they dislike anything rap related. Just think of it as a fast, spoken word part of the song if that helps.

Hard Rock Live in Orlando only seats about 3k max. I don't know if I am more pleased by having a closer experience with Babymetal or if I am displeased by my local metalheads not making this such a big event that they have to put it in an arena. A little conflicted I guess. I am hoping more people will eventually catch on to how amazing Babymetal truly is.

I want them to just get it over with and finally find a permanent replacement for Yui. I don't want to see 3 members where one of them is just a fill in/backup dancer. This would mean that Black Babymetal is dead. It shouldn't be that hard to find someone who could fill Yui's shoes. Not to take anything away from Yui, she was a great dancer (imo, better than Moa) and she could sing, even though she didn't have a powerful voice like Su, her voice was basically on the same level as Moa. There are plenty of girls out there around the same age/size as Yui & Moa who are just as kawaii and could do what she did. Sorry for ranting but the 3 full-fledged member version of Babymetal will always be the best version.

I have just watched Glastonbury on the Catch-up. Brilliant. Su started a little ropey, but this probably was the nerves she mentioned on the NME Interview video. She was smiling too. The band was tight, the new song sounds great and Elevator Girl sounds so much better live. The new girl was good, but once again did not sing. Surprised as I am aware of Morning Musume as I liked one of their songs from 2016. Available on the BBC iPlayer for 29 days.

i wondered if you would be uploading something BabyMetal related :-) The LA show should be good, hopefully it will match the London 02 performance. It is surprising that many of the venues are relatively small but lucky for those who can be near the front. Not sure you will be able to make a home made version of the new costumes? As with Distortion, I am not so keen on Pa Pa Ya but hope the live version will be better as in my view the live version of Distortion is much better than the studio version. Although it is still sad Yui has gone, I do hope a replacement for her will be permanent, rather than a guest for the tours. As usual the announcement is ambiguous :-) Have you and Tom been working overtime? You are going to several shows this year - excellent stuff. How was the Japan holiday?
