Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🐭 This single just reached Number 1 US Billboard rock/metal chart for the first time for both bands! Gotta love SuMetal in full Su-ccubus mode.😈🤘❤️ They cut the final part when Su said louder "Thank you Nico and Kevin from Electric Callboy" and all of them hug each other just like they did it again at Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring recently. Fun fact: One of the singers said that it was kinda hard to do that dance move with the hand while moving the head at the beginning. Also at the end, during the third chorus, which btw was a BM suggestion to include (EC didn't want a third chorus), in the MV you can see them doing the same dance move waving theirs arms up and down, they wanted to do it in the live version but they failed and quit when starting with the wrong foot lol EC played this at Sweeden Rock recently and oc it wasn't the same without our girls, still cool thou ngl. After that they played with BM together once again at Rock Im Park during EC setlist and later at BM setlist with the girls wearing new badass outfits, they also did it yesterday at Rock Am Ring twice and there are two cool proshot clip already. Kitsune up and see you next time.🦊🤘🐭

At 4:51, the Japanese lyrics there are ‘ko-akuma shichau?’ (Am I going to be a little cute devil? (translated by me, so forgive me )) (小悪魔しちゃう?) So I guess this effect is the kind of post-production, but I didn't expect Su- comes in. I'm going to die, haha. At 6:13, 'bun-bun' (ぶんぶん, or ブンブン) in Japanese, it is an onomatopoeic word, describing the swinging of things, the sound of engines, or the buzzing of bees wings or so, but in this case I believe it means to build up momentum. So it may be similar to the English word, ‘boom’. And by the way, about ‘fu-fu’, it is originally an onomatopoeic word too, (Japanese has really a lot of those ones.) and it is an expression for when you blow on something hot to cool it down (フーフー, or ふーふー). But in this case the usage is different, and rather than an onomatopoeic word, it could be called a casual word, or a slang word, I guess. I wonder if it's sampled in Japanese techno music or Eurobeats, but I'm not familiar with them, so I have no idea, but I guess it is like a call to stir things up...

"Bun bun" is a Japanese onomatopoeia, a word that phonetically imitates a natural sound. In this case, it basically means buzzing or humming, such as from the flapping wings of an insect or a running motorcycle engine. So it also has the connotation of shaking. Another example: "kon" is the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound foxes make, which you hear in Megitsune.

Nice one.🦊I'm glad you clarified (although a lot of people have said the same thing) as I was going to say, they're always goofing about, smiling and having fun, messing about and trying to make each other laugh. In music videos they are usually acting a part depending on what the song is about etc ... the difference in the MV for this was they were playing themselves sipping cocktails🍹and having fun in a karaoke.🎶

I sense that a BABYMETAL huge stage performance in Japan, will feature more of Queen SU-METAL, MOAMETAL and MOMOMETAL. But when they collaborate with other artists, that Suzuka, Moa and Momoko will be unleashed. 🦊 🦊 🦊 🖖❤

@@Grington300 To elaborate a bit more on my statement. I believe in an interview in 2019??, Su said she was going to “loosen up”. From the fan cams of their tour last year, you could see that the ladies were having a lot of fun with each other and their interactions with the fans.😄 🦊 🖖❤

Yes, Babymetal ladies are hugely professional, so much so the EC boys felt a bit intimidated working with them in the MV. And yes, their job was to let loose or act that they are and they did. About an interview about Su-metal, I just remember that in the 'Monster interview' Su-metal said she and her Su-metal monster are getting more integrated, she got more control over it.

Great reaction, thanks! This live version hits harder and heavier than the studio track and I hope to experience it live soon... although without EC, unfortunately. They are actually very "unserious" in between songs and in the end of the show, especially when it's not going into a Blu-ray. During Legend-MM they were incredibly funny, tho. You can also see Moa's (usually followed by Momoko) shenanigans trying to break Su during the breakdown of "Megitsune".

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I feel honored to have witnessed this performance 2 times at the venue of the two-day Fox_Fest festival 😍. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (and group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band on this stage was BM's West Kami Band (Great!!). The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。

Also “bun” is of course pronounced as Japanese, but if you look at the in between English words….”moving” bun bun bun, “shaking” bun bun bun…I thing it might be a play on actual buns. Ya know…booty.

King Gnu is one of the biggest band now in Japan but not famous overseas. I love your reactions especially on Lovebites, Babymetal, Nemophila, Maximum The Hormone, I always feel you have a similar musical taste as mine. Thank you so much.

Nice reaction! I don't think "BUN BUN BUN" has any particular meaning. I think it is a word to create a fun atmosphere. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong🙏
@EvilRobotSteve3 ай бұрын
In Japanese it's meant to be a sound like bees buzzing. So with the moving, shaking, jumping, stomping. It's all about movement and I think the idea is about getting the crowd moving and joining in. It does help to create the fun atmosphere.

As @uwjtatsuya3975 mentioned: "Bun Bun Bun" is an onomatopoeia in Japanese. It often refers to the sound of bees flying. There's even a nursery rhyme called "Bun Bun Bun" that goes like this. "Bun, bun, bun. The bees are flyin' round the pond where the wild roses are bloomin'. Bun, bun, bun. The bees are flyin'." "Bun" also indicates the sound of something like a baseball bat or stick cutting through the air. So, I imagine the three members of BABYMETAL cutting through the air like bees in a dance.

They will pre-record her screams in live shows, I'm pretty sure their team will not risk a failed scream live that will embarrass Momo. But if she does scream/growl live, it will probably be in japan shows.

Whoever tells you to look things can just STFU! I don't understand why people gotta be rude. TBH, I don't think the "bun, bun, bun" means anything and could be just a mistranslation. She says shaking so one would think it's supposed to be "boom, boom, boom". Same with the "Oo Oo's" that were spelled "fu, fu". WTH is fu fu?!😂
@DeathFORcameO4 ай бұрын
Well in pop music they always use that 'boom boom' and 'woo woo', so for them to make it different is great actually.
