I cut my Kpop teeth on Blackpink around 2018 thanks to algorithms on KZbin. I learned of Babymonster during the pandemic (2020) and fell into the rabbit hole. They were so young but so talented for their ages. I saw so much potential back then I wanted to be a part of their journey. Now this song solidifies why BABYMONSTER is a top tier group like don't get me wrong they been proving they have ace talents from the past releases but DRIP has something that encorporates all the criteria. To be honest from all the previews that they drop except DRIP I was afraid if it would not exceed my expectations but the girls slayed and ate so hard. All seven members really stood out from vocals RAMI PHARITA RORA and don't get me started to AHYEON like girl she really define what high note really is in the bridge. As always the rap RUKA & ASA devoured like they been spitting bars plus CHIQUITA rapping!? she's so talented as such a young age. Now, the album is toptier all the bsides are title track material is so good and I love how each song has different vibe to it. All songs shows how talented BABYMONSTER and it's crazy that they been doing all this in there 1st year as a group. Overall, the song is such a banger and I'm really happy that GDRAGON is part of composing this song manifesting he can compose for the girls in the future like this typical sound is what they suit them a lot.
