Please check out K.a.a.n. most underrated artist ever. its practically criminal he is so good and under exposed he's dropped three or four new tracks this week alone, their all freestyles! Cypress hill, Mike Jones and Wu-Tang obvious call backs to some of the greats Then you have K.a.a.n.'s remix of Em's rap god, and Kaancepts 1 and 2 which are classics in their own right.

The constructive criticism of lyrical content is VERY valid. This has been the problem with Baby Monster's rap lyrics and even Blackpink's rap lyrics from the start. Appreciate the honesty from you for real.

Its gotten old. Theyre done the "Im rich, I'm pretty" thing to death. And the choruses are getting worse and worse. One or two words don't make a chorus. The girls can sing/rap but their songwriters suck.

'Clik Clak' is the intro to the album, like 'Monsters' intro track in the previous album, but was released to introduce Drip. This M/V has so much swag, they are ultra bosses in it. All the girls kill it. But Asa is next level, still owns. Start the Drip era, this is exciting!!! Baemon gonna dominate!!! These girls are insanely talented, love them so much. Be ready for Drip next, its so good!!!

I don't defend these lyrics but I mean what is there more to say? Rappers rap about harsdships in life, they barely had enough time on this earth to get a lot of hardships or even real life experience due to their trainee years. Rappers rap about their hood, it's pretty clear those girls have no hood, it would sound dishonest. Rappers rap about emotions like depression, I would STRONGLY hope that they do not have that, especially being so young and having a goal. Rappers rap about how they eat up everyone, they barely debuted, they cannot say that, especially with big rappers in kpop as well. Rappers rap about their body and certain actions that don't need further explaination why BM cannot do that So they obviously went the wealth-way, the same many rappers do. Is it ideal, no. But their age is actually a problem, not only because what's appropriate or not but because rap has a lot to do with life experience which they don't have much. So it's actually good that they have a rap song without offending anyone or being dishonest

The lyrics in their songs genuinely make me upset bcus I cant stand meaningless lyrics and the girls are way more talented then that. The lyrics they are given makes it hard for them to be taken seriously (at least for me). I wish yg would realize you can have a badass concept and song without putting the lyrics through a random generator of meaningless materialistic words. Not to mention you can be badass without saying you are better then everyone and having lyrics putting down others for not being as famous or rich as you which in my opinion also doesnt make sense since the group literally just debut. I hate most of blackpinks lyrics but at least them singing those same lyrics are actually the truth bcus they are rich and the most famous girl group. Its also so annoying bcus Asa and Ruka have shown before that they can write their own lyrics (meaningful ones) from predebut. Theres just so much missed opportunities with them bcus they are so talented

you're right about the English lyrics, they need someone better writing the English bars and coaching the girls up(because they do write a lot of their own bars). It's really their only(minor) weakness right now. Get someone in there like some of the folks working with XG and their golden. The flows, beats are all great.
