The structure of the Korean language is quite different from western languages in that much of the meaning comes at the end of root verbs. (It's similar to Japanese, Finnish and Hungarian in that sense. So-called "agglutinative languages") One big benefit is that it makes rhyme schemes very easy. You can have a huge variety of meanings, depending on the verbs, that end with the same sound. You're right, it would never be used by itself, since it's a suffix that has to be combined with a verb. The "please do" counterpart to that, for example, would be [verb root] + seyo (세요). Ha-seyo (please do it), Ga-seyo (please go), Du-seyo / Japsu-seyo (please eat).

The pre-debut song "dream" was not like any BP song. Stuck in the Middle wasn't really like any BP song. Like That is not like any BP song. Forever is not like any BP song. Most of their songs are not really anything like BP songs. The constant critique about them being copies of BP is just a tired, lame...and very wrong...negative talking point that the h a t e r s (mostly fans of rival groups) just keep mindlessly repeating. I guess they know that they really have nothing to hold against Babymonster, so they've decided to just keep repeating that one d u m b talking point.

Totally agree with you on how Rora is relatively loose-managed so far. Rora in an unfortunate sense, stands as the only lyrical vocal of BM (Pharita halfway there maybe), let alone the hip hop side from the Best Rapper Duo ever. I think YG has made an effort to produce according to their strengths, and that’s why Rora stands firm on owning the bridges of Sheesh and Forever. Still, I guess everyone would love a Haram + Rora + Pharita focused chorus in their future titles before this power-driven + hip hop model becomes too predictable.
