YG stepping out of their comfort zone and we are ALL for it!!!! When the Last Evaluation wrapped up in 2022 we (the fans) were all worried that YG would try to make Babymonster into Blackpink 2.0. The vocalists are so special that they deserved songs that would put emphasis and highlight how good they are. YG has their typical style where they too much into the Pop frenetic rap aspect. Granted thats what differentiates them for other agencies, but you can't ignore the amount of talent their vocalists have. With Batter Up and Sheesh, we saw the bad girl creepy vibe, but with Stuck in the Middle and Forever we get to see their vocalists shine. Babymonster can be their own identity, they can adapt to any concept and I am happy YG is allowing them to do different style and show their skills.

I definitely want to see a full rap song like maybe a sub unit song from Ruka, Asa, Ahyeon, and Chiquita like I want to hear them go offfff. Even scarier is that Rami (in particular), Pharita, and Rora have shown potential rap abilities (not on the level of rap line but even so) like how much more dangerous can this group become. I definitely would not be shocked if by the end of their first contract every girl was an all-rounder at the very least (and when it comes to rap line we know about Acesa and golden all-rounder Ahyeon but Ruka’s vocal is also so nice I hope we see it a bit more). The chorus song reminds me of Feel This Moment - Christina Aguilera or an interpolation of Take On me- A ha. I really love this song and how YG is experimenting with different sounds/genres to see what works best for them! I am excited to see what the title track for this upcoming full-length album since this is the pre-release single. Maybe Pop Rock genre next!?
