The song is just so calm that makes me wanna cry for no reason😭 in which it also showcase there unique vocals compared to batter up. Stuck in the middle is a pre release so it's understandable that ballad as for sure they will go all out for the actual comeback. The girls sounded absolutely gorgeous and ethereal I’m glad they got a song to showcase their vocals I liked Batter Up but I’m glad they got a song that’s different from the typical YG sound we got from YG artists and hope we get to see more sides to them. Ahyeon will return she’s currently re-recording her lines for Batter Up & Stuck in the Middle they’ll also will release their 1st mini album in April and their 1st full album around the fall so somewhere around September-November so can’t wait for the albums and see Ahyeon with the rest of the girls and see your reaction to it.😊💚

i personally like Rora's tone the most as its has the most "clarity" because sometimes the other members have that cursive approach when they sing but i still appreciate their talent and how strong and good their vocals are for 4th gen

I understand where you coming from... it's your opinion indeed. YGfans like me know the agency and 100% expected a hiphop gerne debute. Its YG. Those who expected vocals should've been thinking about YG dropping DREAM. That was telling... YG always does hiphop as debute ( except WINNER, they did r&b ish pop). From 2NE1 to BABYMONSTER it's always been HIPHOP first than ballet. - 2NE1- FIRE & Lonely - BLACKPINK Whisle & STAY - BABYMONSTER- Batter up & Stuck in the middle. Catchy songs make more impact. It sets the bar high in terms of beats and hints for future artistic colour of the group.The number of views and tiktok dance covers speak volumes. Yeah, I definitely understand this. I was reacting to the music, NOT the agency. I don't want to see "is this a good YG song/video" but "is this a good song/MV, OVERALL?" I don't have an issue with a group doing a hip hop concept as a debut - I think that's really fun! And 'Batter Up' was a fun song. But I just don't love the idea of YG basically giving us a rebrand of their past groups as an introduction. I don't think baemon needs to do ballads like 'Stuck In The Middle' to be good, BUT I just liked the fact that this felt so uniquely like THEM. They could have done heavy, hip hop-ish, girl crush concept that still felt like BABYMONSTER, but I don't think they did that with 'Batter Up.' It didn't feel like something new.

I got lots and lots of hate for saying this in your batter up reaction but as I said, if you guys don't know YG then why are you even judging them? I said YG will give babymonster their own space and sound but as YG does with EVERY new group's debut song, they did with batter up and as always many new people are on the hate train without even giving both YG and Babymonster chance. Like I said, it was their 1st and ONLY song so you guys shouldn't have judged them that early AND now I'm saying it again YG won't continue with this ballad style for babymonster. They'll do more R&B & Hip Hop (as already said by many many producers and it's literally written on their profile on YG Ent. Friend, I think you got lots & lots of hate on my last video because you went out of your way leaving lots & lots of angry replies to every commenter who didn't like the debut. But only speaking for myself, I am ALLOWED to watch MVs and have an opinion, even if I don't agree with the YG strategy. I was excited for this group and I was underwhelmed by their debut. I also very clearly said I was excited to see the many other styles & concepts they give us with future releases. I love this one!! No k-pop fan in the world is going to expect them to only stick to one concept for the rest of their career - we know that isn't how k-pop works. But we're talking about THIS song right now... and I love this one because it highlights and showcases each of their unique vocal strengths in a really pretty way. 😍 If you only want to see reactions where people love the music and agree with your viewpoints, you can do that - just click a new link whenever you don't like what a reactor is saying. Not because they were having their own opinions but because they were discrediting babymonster "just based on ONE SOLITARY song". As I said in my comment of that video, having an opinion is one thing but JUDGING the entire group on one song is .. well not acceptable. 2. You are allowed to watch videos even if you don't agree with the YG strategy (in fact it gives them views so keep doing that 😂) but if you know you DON'T like the song or video, why even post it online? Yes we all know the video will be great...it is YG. But the lyrics were everything. A fitting concept of first love. Very YG, using a similar chord structure in the chorus to Bigbang. Many similarities to Bigbang and Akmu, i hope haters dont notice like Batter Up.

Recycled? Batter Up was supposed to be an homage to their senior YG groups. YG himself explained this prior to its release. It was what it was supposed tp be. They have 3 songs now and only Batter Up follpws this "formula" YG antis complain about. Yet, these antis' fave groups have stereotypically overproduced vocals and all sound the same...boring. Most of 2NE1, BP, and Bigbang don't follow this "formula"...only their pre releases whoch are meant to be bangers.

I hear what you're saying and that's a fair opinion. I said it's a very classic ballad, exactly what I'd want/expect to hear from a ballad... but that's essentially the same thing you're saying: it's a sound that's been done a bajillion times before. I liked it because it allowed them to showcase their voices, which made me happy. I also DON'T listen to ballads very often, so it still feels "fresh" to me but if I heard this all the time, I might say it's recycled too 🤷🏾‍♀️
