definitly...im currently learning all his tunes, and its like its the first time that im REALLY expressing myself on the instrument. Because with him there really are no wrong notes. He playes around so much with dissonance, and once adapted to that style, youre really playing instead of thinking too much. Im getting more and more pissed at this new way of guitar playing that is being promoted by all the teaching platforms on the internet nowdays. They make it seem like its all about scales and perfect notes and all of that. Yes, you should learn to play in a ''perfect'' way, but wheres the feeling? Have we forgotten everything that Hendrix told us? Oh yeah, right...Hendrix is over and nowdays its John Mayer...ugh...

Patrick was such a good guitarist for them. Completely solid but could improvise whenever it suited. The guitar work on the first record is unreal, it sounds like a jam without going too sloppy.
