It was a ling-proof wall with the supply, barraks and factory but to make the wall complete, Fanta needed to lift his barraks and have the marine behind the wall so he could defend properly but Jaedong just got him at the right time with the lings so he couldn't lift anything! The first 6 lings just got there when the first marine popped out even though Fanta was producing a marine before he put the factory down. GG Jaedong - 9-pool after 4 pool! Brilliant!

Haha, I've read the LOTR series a couple of times since I was 12. Yes, the RoTK does refer to Aragorn, but he was never famous until he returned as the long-lost king in the line. In pro-SC, Boxer has always been known as the "emperor", but he's disappeared from top-level play. So Fantasy, who moderately resembles him and is a creative T on SKT1, could be his even more powerful (at least in the present-day) reincarnation. Hence the cheesy Gandalf Grey/White analogy!

i heard that they were implimenting a new "Free Agent" system and that Jaedong and Bisu were going to be the first ones to use it next season. So that means No more Jaedong for Oz! Happiness ensues. Atleast that's what I recall from watching a vod of Tasteless and SDM talking about the pro scene.

a cheese build is defined as an unorthodox build that puts the user at a disadvantage, and aims to economically damage the opponent or finish the game early. 9 pool gas is a common build. jaedong only decided to produce 6 lings at the start, it's only after jaedong found fantasy's base and the bad wall that u see more lings streaming from his base to fantasy's base on the minimap.

it doesn't matter whether the cheese doesn't kill off the opponent or whether the user can come back from the economic disadvantage - a 4 pool, 5 pool, 6 pool, any proxy; as long as it aims to cause an early economic disadvantage it's a cheese

I wouldn't say unlucky, they have set places to spawn unless there is something blocking the way, which is why Jaedong always stopped attacking and made space for them to spawn when he thought they were coming out.

I feel that Fantasy as itself is really not on the same level as Jaedong. But when he has Boxer and Oov to give him strategies, now its all different (like in Proleague). But in a Bo5 where you cant predict as well how it will goes, Fantasy just doesnt have the star sense to adapt well.

he cancelled the marine to continue scv production probaby and i doubt he expected a 9 pool after getting 4 pooled. I'm wondering if the buildings could have been placed better. Marine popping out outside the wall is wack.

Why Fantasy didn't win? Because the announcer never read or watched Lord of the Rings. Gandalf isn't a king; Return of the King is a reference to *Aragorn*, not Gandalf. And Aragorn is a better analogy to Jaedong than Fantasy. So it was the Return of the King. Jaedong redeemed himself, restored his honor, and proved that while he can lose, he won't be *broken* by anyone.

technically a fast factory would be considered cheese too in a tvz matchup. because one fast vulture with good micro could end the game. fast fact rush... i hate it. i think cheese is something that is "out of the ordinary" like any proxy or "weird" build.

this is the one thing that bothers me about starcraft, the spawns from terran/protoss buildings comes out at a predictable spot that makes it terrible to have to wall something off if you are on the top of a map like that. if it were a wall on the bottom of the map fantasy might have had a chance...

Unless the other player is terrible there us no followup to 4 pool because you lost if it failed. Jaedong almost lost the match but did a last attack and Fantasy just couldnt micro well enough. Thats why player usually 5 pool because sometime you can actually move up into a macro game which is almost impossible with a 4 pool.

Its not just Boxer and Oov thats feeding him strategies. I'm pretty sure he is a creative player himself. He really plays well versus standard builds. You should always do something alittle radical vs fantasy. Like someone said, he is alittle bad att adjusting to situations. I really hoped fantasy would win, i like his style and the fact that he acctually looks nerdy. Jaedong and Bisu look like asian equivalents to european rockstars.
