Bach could have never imagined in his wildest dreams that there would be a diverse group of students of various ethnic backgrounds, male and female, playing his music in an underground train powered by electricity rocketing through a city! It is a testament to the master and the timelessness of his music.

This makes me wanna cry so much, it's so carefully synchronized and spontaneous at the same time: no formal wear, no controlled facial expressions they laugh, they look around: it's simply magical, this is by far the best version of JSB cello suite no1 prelude.

never thought I would be able to play an instrument, but I picked it up fast played the Violin for a few years, and im ashamed at how fast I lost the ability to read music and I never followed my heart and switched to cello like I wanted, I also wanted to play the piano but we couldn't afford lessons or a piano when I was younger, I have violin in my closet and a cello in my brothers he moves in two weeks I know he won't take it with him maybe I should try it on my own watching videos like this one make me cry I get taken away from all the bad things it's so beautiful

I'm a very average person, the things I find important are without a doubt the very same things you would expect of a total stranger...my favorite music includes what most classical aficionados would consider garbage (rap, screamo, etc.) But there is something about this song, I knew what it was before I knew what to call it... And listening to this didnt just bring tears to my eyes, but brought them all the way down my face and onto the ground by my feet...

The prelude to the first of J.S. Bach's Six Suites for Solo Cello performed by a well unified gang of cellists aboard a rocking Metro car, and this was, apparently, a scene from a movie called _The Silence before Bach_. I love the concept. Does anyone know in what city's Metro this is? It looks like Medellín's, but I suppose it could be anywhere because two companies-one French, one German-build at least 80% of the Metro systems in the world. Medellín is a very arty and progressive city, so I could see them arranging an exclusive train in the wee hours of the morning before the rush hour. On the other hand, most of Medellín's system is elevated and not subterranean.

***** I missed that one too, I'm sad to say. I've heard of it though. Glen Gould toured the Steinway factory, and he (almost?) sued them because in their zeal to make him feel welcome, one of the company officers squeezed his hand too hard while shaking it.
