Absolutely amazing. One of my all-time favourite pieces. I never believed anyone could match Pierre Fournier's recording but yours comes very close. Another wonderful performance. As you know I am a free bass accordion and pipe organ player. I am also very familiar with cello.... I don't play but two of my kids play cello.... one very well. This Bach selection is one of my favorites on Cello and your Bandoneon gives a very good performance and in many ways gives a very good match to the tone and dynamics of a great cello performance of the Bach Cello suite. Some argue that music composed for one instrument shouldn't be performed on other instruments. Your performance shows just how wrong that thinking is.

I think the bandoleon doesn't have enough contrast of acute notes to properly replicate the cello! The larger accordions would be interesting to see played by You!

The idea is not at all to replicate the cello. Accordions are different instruments, I wouldn’t know how to play one.
