Solo (unaccompanied) suites consist of six movements/parts: prelude, allemande, courante, sarabande, minuets or bourrées or gavottes, gigue
Each suite starts with prelude and all the other movements are based on baroque dance types.

I am a bass player, but as melodic instruments go, the cello may be my favourite. It has the best range of the stringed instruments. Notes that are too high can sound shrill, and notes that are too low can be difficult to make out clearly.

@lizzie11377 False. I play in a post hardcore band, and it's alot more difficult than people think. Believe it or not, there is a technique for screaming. Do it wrong and you can actually mess up your insides. Also the technicalities in the drumming, guitar, bass, and every other aspect of the genera are very complex and complicated. Saying the statement you just stated is like saying "cello? Oh you just drag the bow across the strings and move your fingers up and down the strings."
