It is a blessing to be able to hear this music and enjoy it! I love my country (Puerto Rico), but I wish we had luck like the people in some European countries (Spain, Italy, France, and others), where they can enjoy free out and indoor classic concerts, opera and theater. People have the luck to enjoy all of this from an early age.

Es hat etwas unreifes in meinem Charakter, doch wenn ein Ausländer und noch mehr ein russischer Slawe Musik eines deutschen Komponisten mag so wie ich rührt mich dies manches Mal zu Tränen. Vermutlich hat dies damit zu tun daß ich es schon fast als ein Geschenk empfinde wie dies sein kann trotz des zweiten Weltkriegs. Andererseits, warum denn auch nicht oder vielleicht gerade deswegen . . . . . . . Bitte nicht mißverstehen! Grüße aus Berlin
