This is my quarantine project of all the Bach Suites, which was commissioned by the Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá. Thanks for watching! Video, sound and editing done by me.

3:38!! such a genius move- the top A is played on the same note as the previous note E but on harmonics... no more sliding arpeggios! This is probably what Bach intended to sound like on a cello piccolo or da spalla. Bravo!
I like how you were re-thinking the 'usual' interpretation, bringing the world a wonderful fresh view on the same Urtext. And masterly played! Thank you.

I love your approach. Your beautiful lines, varied dynamics and clear harmonic progressions bring out the full depth of the music. I think Bach would have loved it. Thank you for sharing this with us. Your playing is a gift.

I now truly have years of study. These 6 suites are the foundation of my love for Cello. Obvious maybe to many but a "true" experience to live through ... and maybe the only thing that one may take with oneself when the time comes ... The simple thought of hearing this music for eternity brings me to tears.

I'm really in love with your style bringing these old compositions to life. Wonderful magnetic and warm sound and at the same time so clearly pronounced - breathing - singing - dancing . Totally concentrated but also totally in flow - magic ;))) Absolutely my favourite Cellist at the moment. Thanks a lot for sharing these wonderfully interpreted suites- love it♡♡♡

Would it be acceptable to ask how you record these performances? I am struggling getting good results from a single condenser mic, and perhaps there are some tricks? Goes without saying I am loving the performance! Thanks!

Because of your concept of what baroque playing is "supposed" to be, you completely detach yourself from the rhythmic integrity of each movement. It's like you are trying to show the listener all the pieces instead of just letting them exist and playing the music.
