Ich wollte nur einmal kurz hineinhören und bin bis zum abrupten Schock, dass nach der 25. Variation vorzeitig Schluss war, kleben geblieben. Abseits des viel zu frühen Aufhörens ist es eine grandiose Einspielung und mit die beste, die ich je gehört habe, und das sind etliche Dutzend. Ein Traum, wie dieses Trio harmoniert und sich die herrlichen Dissonanzen "Brut de Brut" um die Ohren streicht. Frau Marzadori hat sich in Bach versetzt und ihn beispiellos leben lassen und auch Elena Faccani und Massimo Polidori setzten Maßstäbe. Klar ist, dass der wunderbare Inhalt des Stückes mit einem solchen Trio so intensiv und vor allem so transparent ad aures gebracht werden kann, wie es mit keinem Tasteninstrument zu schaffen ist. Einfach nur großartig, der Torso.

Beautiful and very skillfull performance. I love it when the interpreters are humble enough to step behind the music and let it speak for itself. Variation 7 is really folk like. I always thought that this aspect of Bach's music is under appreciated.

The Bach trio sonata BWV525 played by O.Nicolet is very interesting. This Goldberg is also very charming. Changes in tone and articulation make the voices stand out more stereoscopically.

Beautiful playing, and surprised how well it works for string trio. I also have the Bach inventions and sinfonias recorded by Janine Jansen and friends which is very effective. I would have liked to be able to hear the excellent playing by the viola slightly better, the balance of the recording seemed to favour the violin and cello, but this was a minor issue.

No comment. Enough to hear and enjoy. Aria and variation on XVIIth style of camera music. To keep civilisation alive (somehow) is a great thing. It will be extinct in 2 generations.
