Feltsman has a lovely tone and sense of nuance❤ I was too quick to judge. Even so, I recommend listening to the interpretations of other fine artists.

Seriously? What others have you heard? Badura-Skoda? Demus? Gould? Richter?

Mr. Feltsman is a genuis with the romantics! Not so, with the Baroque excepting a few movements.

Too strident and careless at beginning. So cavalier in his approach to a great work of Bach. The Allemande continues the travesty in a sloppiness of spirit. Surprised at this poor showing.

@@davidmoran5431'morning! Who needs to "keep going and get into it?" Do I, or are you saying that is what Feltsman is doing?

@@davidmoran5431 Have you listened to the Badura-Skoda recording? (I left the link previously.) Easy to listen.👍

@@messrtwinky I was pointing out that it greatly improves after the opening issues. imo. I will relisten to PBS, yes, thanks. I was recently surprised that Levit occasionally lacks rhythmic strength. He is not rhythmically inept like Schiff, but I expected better, given his Beethoven strength.

What's wrong with this guy?

@bonusbull I'm curious. Are you "saying," there's nothing objectionable about his performance or wondering why he's not doing better? Thanks. Also, make it a great day, regardless!

I see you like Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto! Have you heard David Oistrakh's spectacular performance with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra? Here's the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXuZmGp8gMukkKs

I think some of these comments are too precious about Bach. I expect there was a fair bit of extemporisation in Bachs playing and ge probably played about with tempos of pieces he wrote. Not all set in stone
