I feel this Prelude was very special to him. He repeats the theme verbatim on three separate occasions. In no other prelude does this happen. At least not in this way. So amazing. I made a version for guitar. Great performance!!!--- Tyler

This prelude and fugue pair is definitely the highest of all high points in the WTC2. It is the equivalent to the C#-Minor or the B-Minor pair from Book 1.

My Bach goal is to finish the Inventions & Synfonias, move on to the WTC, the Goldberg Variations, and finally the Art of Fugue. The Art of Fugue is something Paul definitely needs to do!

so im familiar with the 2 books,but especially book one. I played the melodies ti death, though i wasnt an expert 3 or 4 part player, prelude and fugue type player. My mind was the perfect player even though u couldn't get those hands to behave.
