She has a God-given gift. Her playing touches our emotions, reaching deep into our souls. She is super talented, but also obviously very disciplined to do the work to learn such a difficult piece. I am in awe.

its not dark. Tocatta and Fugue is a heart lifting piece.

yeah it's not dark at all, this concept of emotion linked to music was not a thing until 1800s. Bach made music for special occasions like nobility weddings and gatherings and commissioned pieces by nobles, or like this toccatta, for learning and mechanical purposes. it has no specific emotion linked to it

this young lady is like an angel without wings. I am 63 and grew up with this piece of music in almost all the classic horror movies I ever saw. Playing it on the harp makes it less creepy and enjoyable

I love this excellent performance I was just looking at an adult playing this song and I ended the video right away because the timing between notes were to rapid. But this child nailed it, it was perfect and i will share this video people need to see this.

Yes, it definitely tames down the bombast of the organ version, but brings out a delicate beauty you would never know without hearing it on the harp.I wonder who transcribed this to harp? Bach himself? Perhaps the parts that were edited were the ones that did not translate so well to harp...regardless, this talented little lady is amazing, and I can only imagine what she can/will do as she matures. I also agree with a below comment..Bach would definitely have approved of this, and would have smiled listening to a child play his piece this way

I've heard this piece many times and have always dismissed it as aimless noodling, not really sounding like Bach. This youngster had revealed the beauty hidden in all those finger exercises in this piece. The way she plays it, it sounds like Bach. Edit: she understands how use dynamics and phrasing to turn notes into music.
