Jim, I've watched this and We've Only Just Begun well over a hundred and fifty times and they seem to only get more enjoyable. Love the harmonies during San Jose, so well done. I've loved Tori since the 1st time I heard her but the way these 2 harmonize is just incredible... I dont even care of this was the 1st take or the 100th, to be able to pull off this sound from my mom's all time fave Burt... what a tribute

Only one word to describe this FANTASTIC! Just like Karen, Tori is one of a kind. Her voice is so smooth WOW! And Jim is great also. No auto-tune or pitch correction here. Just singing at it's finest. Thanks Jeff , love your reaction videos.

So what have we all been seeing these past months with Tori Holub? Simple, a young woman with an amazing voice and attitude that draws us in just like all the great female singers have done. An no, she doesn't want to be Karen or just sing her songs. In other words, the world now has a singer very close to Karen which has an old soul that could sing a Supreme Court decision and we'd love it. I've been a fan since the late 1960s and thought I'd never see a female artist to be even as good as Karen. Well.... now I've found someone that really gets close.

Jeff, Do you think you could get Tori on your show to interview her about her voice? When I first heard her, I thought she was Karen Carpenter reincarnated as Tori. Took me back. I started crying. I understand she is not auto tuned or pitch corrected and figured out those harmonies all on her own.!!!

Hi Jeff, Here’s the rest of the story. Tori did her part last October, all by herself! She used a Richard Carpenter created Karaoke track that he made for the Japanese market. I was introduced to Tori by KZbin just before this video dropped! Wow! The Appreciation segment is my favorite Live Carpenters performance of this Medley on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1970. Karen live drumming and singing! Tori did all the vocals, mixing editing etc. She even was “Richard” in the harmonies, listen carefully and in Walk On By, it’s a duet so she looks right at the camera and is Richard, harmonies, Karen (repeat). She had made a short with one segment of the Medley and was challenged to create the whole thing, hence the opening. Flash forward to early 2024 and Jim is introduced to Tori by KZbin with this song. He loved it but felt it needed “More Richard.” So he added himself and showed it to Tori. She loved it he released it and We’ve Only Just Begun was then first result of this new collaboration. How’s that for a story! More to come and I for one can’t wait. Eduard2004 created a mashup of the We’ve Only videos. You may have seen that. He also did this medley which I’ll link below for fun. You want to see how close Tori and then Jim were to the Carpenters. This video will blow your mind. I’ve seen comments that she’s too fast, nope that was Richard’s original arrangement for this.
