You cannot lead this is partner work. You have to account for knowledge and connection. Footwork shines are suggestions. The lead knows what they are doing but the following during footwork can just do a basic or their own footwork. There are some that if known can be lead like a Rosario. But most syncopated footwork isn’t going to be translated 100% But I am just a student in class for a few years.
