Awesome Achievement!!! I thought that was Brutal that they didn't transfer MOST of her credits! In her case, She kicked ass in spite of that!! OUTSTANDING!!! But, wasn't there a better school choice, that would accept all of her credits?
@samlewis6615Ай бұрын
I know right but hey whatever can you do. I have 40ish credits and only 12 transferred to WGU, I'm still excited to get started.
@estebanjimenez-85Ай бұрын
@@samlewis6615 I wanted to transfer to WGU, but they didn't transfer all my credits, so I decided to go to GCU; they accepted me with 52 of my credits. With WGU, it was only 6.
@midnite1235Ай бұрын
I agree! You do what has to be done! And WGU seems to be a great school ! But They sure are picky on what credits they accept.! Good Luck!!!
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
There were options that would accept more credits. For example, something like Liberal Studies. But she changed majors and got the degree she wanted. It's usually better to take a step back and get the degree you want instead of the one that awards the most credits. Usually a better move for your career. Especially with my degree hacking methods. You make those credits up really fast!

Is there anyone who has completed their entire bachelors degree in 6 months at WGU? Not people who’ve spent hours or years accumulating transfer credits. Someone who actually did the entire degree in 6 months. If so can you provide those hacks, hours spent per day and other tips?
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
Yep, absolutely. I've seen as fast as 3 months. You have to follow the right steps though because some students take the full 4 years. I teach all of my hacks here: www.DegreeHackingAcademy.com ... I did in in 9 months, 15 to 20 hours per week.

That's awesome, and I know that you're proud, your husband's proud of you, and that your kids are too...and that you've set an awesome example for your children, your friends, and for your future generation...and eternal family. ;-) 🙂 Great, inspiring story! Thanks for sharing, and thanks Ryan for your channel. ... From someone who's WAY overeducated but who did almost all my undergrads, my multiple master's, and my doctorate (higher ed admin) brick and mortar (most very average rankings, but one a #7-ranked program in it's field, and two others (including my doctorate), #1-ranked in their disciplines)...but did 3 distance learning along the way...two of those "competency-based" and which I greatly accelerated. Great channel. I have seen three of your videos now and enjoyed them all. Excellent info for people. I thought I knew a TON about academia--and different approaches--and I do--but you definitely beat me on knowledge about greatly accelerating the bachelor's degree. ... Finally, I have subscribed and given all "thumbs-up" to your three videos I've watched, and I've already recommended your channel to three of my friends who are just getting started on their bachelor's.

I just came across several of your videos. I am a single grandmother, raising my grandson. I have had several good jobs but I want to reach the next level and the only thing holding me back is a Bachelor's Degree. I don't have much free time and I am trying to understand how to get my Business Management Degree. I was looking at WGU as you suggested and I also saw Sophia could transfer in maybe 30 credits? I feel like I am starting over now with a little one again.

Hey Ryan, I work for a company that pays for all Bachelor's degrees at specific Universities. Purdue Global: Business Administration, Bellevue University: Supply Chain, Transportation and Logistics Management, Business Management and Leadership; Southern New Hampshire University: Computer Science and Business Administration. Do you know if your method will work for any of these colleges? Which school if not all works best for your hack? Thanks for your videos and all you do!

I would like to get a master’s in Neuroscience and become a neuropsychologist. How long would this take usually and around how much money would be needed?
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
I don't know of any "Hackable" Neuroscience degrees. But you can potentially hack a bachelor's degree.. then use that to get into a traditional Neuroscience program. I usually push students to shoot for 6 to 12 months max for Bachelor's Degrees. Between $3k and $10k in tuition if you don't want to do the work to come up with scholarships and grants. But you don't have to pay out of pocket if you're willing to put in the effort for funding.
