She's so beautiful, intelligent and kind. I can't believe anyone is messaging her with dumb stuff. What could anyone possibly criticize here for?

Jenn, you kept mentioning about your culture several times in several interviews. I am not clear what exactly the cultural aspects you are referring to, whether it's about wedding & marriage, or about women chastity, girls dating in multiple at once, or proper ways in dealing with ex. In case you forgot of what you should have been taught about the culture of your ethnicity, the version I got is similar to the philosophy of this show, that is to find a compatible man to become a compatible couple in unity in body and mind, figuratively like a pair of compatible chopstick. I knew this show since season 1 when Alex, Trista,... were like a decade older than me. I do not follow each and every season but for you an Asian pioneer partiticipating I wish you the best in finding your other chopstick. Just please stop repeating the previous toxic ones because it is not specific and would not help much in finding the right one.

If she was so happy with the ending making wrong decisions , why did she cry so much ? Actually she did not learn that much , because she chose two guys with a lot of baggage Marcus danced around everything , but never got there and Devin is a drifter (grifter) she fell on love with she did the same just like in her past relationships . Of course she can't see it , she blindly fell into the same trap . I just tell it like what i saw , but i wish her the very best .
@janeryan27094 ай бұрын
You do realize this interview was done before the show even started airing. She only knew the "ending" as it was at the time - she and Devin were engaged at this point. She was happy with that ending at the time.
@isrberlinerin40634 ай бұрын
@@janeryan2709 Of course i realize and i watched the show . The bottom line remains she just did not make a good decision . Again she fell into her own needy emotional trap and drifter Devin was right there to maximize those deceptive emotions . Marcus did not lover her and he went home with all his baggage .

Poor thing. Look, she’d a typical choice, sorority girl, rich, boring, “sweet”, “pretty” all the usual. Unfortunately, the other possibilities , had they been able to have the job, would have knocked her out of the ballpark, so everyone just can’t be that thrilled. Maria? Are you kidding? The whole world would be sitting on the edge of their seats to watch her in the role! Someone who takes chances, doesn’t just follow the boring, template checking , status quo why couldn’t they have made our summer by allowing us her? Even Daisy was real, not just “sweet”, eww. Having health issues would have spoke to the real rest of us. What’s to watch? “Beachy waves” and tears again? Sorry, I’m sure she’s a nice human being, but she’s obviously been very sheltered, wrapped in cotton wool, a child still liiving with her parents, if I’ve got it right. Maybe eventually she’ll grow an edge? I’m sure now people will claim those having wanted something more lively as “anti-Asian”, not fair, who cares about that? Not saying she’d have to be a Margaret Cho, but...well, very disappointing! After Joey did so well, being authentically human, one wonders what they’re thinking!

God you sound like you hate your own life. And Daisy was anything but real lol! She had an ex back home and wasn’t even into Joey. Stop being bitter you weirdo.

Maria has said many times she didn’t want to be the bachelorette so it’s not like Maria was even a choice. But what a train wreck the show would have been to have somone like Maria as the bachelorette, that would have been so much fun and chaotic at the same time 😊

I completely agree. Very immature, and has shown in her actions. Very egotistical. I watched some of the first night, and felt it was really silly frat party scene. Turned it off, and don't plan on watching. Such a turn-on off for older women, such as myself. I think the franchise is targeting a younger crowd. Surely worked in my case.
