I don't think they necessarily sign up for this show. My understanding is that the couples are either scouted, or apply to a generic "love reality show." If they're cast, they have to pick who's more into marriage and who's more frilly about it, and they adapt their story to suit the show's narrative. Maybe *some* couples intentionally apply to this particular show, but it's definitely not the majority.

Zaina did her BEST dealing with Scotty. He was SCARY. She was mature, confident whilst still being respectful. I wish she’d use those skills on JR and LEAVE him. Sandy was annoying and I saw nothing interesting about her and I never understood why she was crying. Why is Nick trying to make her into something she’s not, he needs to let her LIVE or just love her for who she is now. Vanessa needs to know her worth, how is Mariah being good looking (she is) interesting? Lol. What? I didn’t see any romantic chemistry between Aria and Caleb but I saw a good friendship. I also need her to come correct because why would she entertain marrying that crazy man, after never even living in the same city, who did not bother to move to you and is pressuring you to end your career early to marry him.

The funny thing about the ultimatum is that the couples on this show shouldn't be together. There hasn't been one couple that I, as an outsider, see that is a healthy one that should be married and that will last. Vanessa and Aria are red flags too. They dont want their men and want the other guy but lashing out on him safely on tv without being called out is what they chose to do. I mean Aria's problem was that Caleb liked her pics and she attacked him so strongly over that you could clearly see she was jealous of Mariah and she wanted to be her. Same with Vanessa she was hurt even a year later holding onto resentment that Nick didnt immediately fall in love with her and continued to cry about Sandy. These people never get called out. Like they are so delusional and self righteous with their selfish narrow perspective its not even funny. The men get called out for breathing wrong but women never get called out for their toxic behavior. Aria was really toxic for trying to burn Mariah and Caleb's relationship by planting doubts in her head just cuz she wanted him.

No one is supporting Nick and everybody called him out on being unhealed and dramatic and he himself admitted that he wasn't great to her so I don't know why she was so emotionally rattled by him having a breakdown about his ex. He had known her all of 3 hours and didn't owe her anything. Isn't that what her husband/ bf said? That he wasn't owed a bye because they didn't know each other so long. So why is it an issue if he did the same thing being an alcoholic spiraling and having an episode.

He as he admitted himself is in shambles. I think we can agree that he was adequately called out but he was having an episode of whatever mental difficulties he is having. Why would she hold him to high standards of behavior and take his behavior personally. She should've been like whatever, he is going through something and gone about her day if she is in a happy relationship. Probably laugh about it in retrospect instead of that she is angry at him. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that she expected more from that relationship and got hurt because he didn't choose her over Sandy.

WellI don't think it was a disaster. We learnt a lot as viewers-1. If he wants to he will( he or she) 2. You can be the best person ever and if a person doesn't want u or they are unhealed they will hurt u 3. If u are healed and self aware you will treat everyone beautifully and it's easy to fall in love with people who are healing and working on themselves, being accountable and not projecting or manipulating others into over staying, hurting them and confusing them so they stay longer.
