one detail I love abt Bachiras backstory is how its voiced by someone else- like he is so afraid being alone he wont even voice his own backstory or his own thoughts, he ahs this other voiced do it as if its talking about him, so he isnt just alone talking about himself. maybe the other ones were like that too and im misremembering but if not i think thats such a neat detail,,

In short, I feel like Bachira and isagi are similar to the idea of soul mates. Just not romantically. Soul mates are bound to meet, no matter the cause or lifetime. It could be under different circumstances, but it will happen. And I feel like especially for bachira, this "monster" was a shadow of isagi, and the monster led him to isagi. Letting him know that isagi was his monster. Thats why bachira thinks so fondly of isagi. so, similar to soulmates, but with no scary monster.
