San Diego still has one up and running.... it sits by the siding near the Convention Center (if you're ever in town, and want to see it in person) and sometimes they put it on the line for special events.

@@Ih8kone , I used to work on them at Geneva Car Barn from 1975 until they were retired in 1982. I would occasionally have to take them out for road tests. The cars didn't have air horns. We only had gongs.

I take it the Chicago car does not have the correct door arrangement of including the third door in the middle? Also, most overhead trolley poles don't spark unless the wire is very dirty or from broken hangers and or poor maintained wire tension.

What's the exact track gauge distance between the rollers? It should be 16.5 mm for HO scale.

Trolley poles spark when either they or overhead wire components such as hangers are either defective or needing adjutment!

Since this a model of a Trolley, presumably it will go around a typical 5" radius model trolley track curve with no problem?

Nope. It is a two truck trolley and will require at least a 15' radius curve.

The white windows and passenger silhouettes ruin a nice model. Just flushed glazed windows with a hazy finish would have been perfect.
