BACHO KIRO CAVE, BULGARIA

Right off the highway just by the Dryanovo Monastery, you will find a paved path leading to one of the largest caves in Bulgaria, the BACHO KIRO CAVE. The walk to the cave is stunning along the river and waterfalls. Once you enter the cave you will learn that follicles were discovered here that are 45,000 years old which proves that home sapiens lived here.
There is lighted pathways, marked areas for viewing and beautiful crystal formations.
