J.S. BACH: O Mensch, bewein' dein Sünde gross (BWV 622)

ABOUT: This is my own transcription of Bach's beautiful Lenten chorale prelude from "Das Orgelbüchlein", BWV 622. It is a close to literal transcription with a few minor modifications to adapt to the piano. This is the second longest of all chorales in the "Orgelbüchlein" and it is a favorite among organists who traditionally play it so slowly and over-romanticize it as to last 6 minutes or longer.
