A couple of things to note if you decide to play this game again: - if you stay in an area for too long, they send more specials to try to get you to move. - the order of your cards matters (if you’re going to play through a long run) so when you make a deck, put them in the order you want to pick them. - the ogre tunnels at half health. So you just have to get it to half health in the start and then you’re good to keep moving on. - and yeah, my friends and I found the jumps between difficulties so insane. The jump from recruit to veteran is insane because it’s like a triple whammy - the ridden to more damage AND you can do team damage AND there and more ridden/specials

This is my favorite game by far in the last two years. I kept wanting to scream, "MOVE FASTER! More zombies will appear if you don't get moving!" Which is why they kept dying in the second level. And, with all the updates in the last year, the game has gotten EVEN better. You can now start your game with a full deck, two new DLCs, a new underground mode you can access at any level, at least 3 new characters with new special traits, lots of cooler brand new cards to add to your multiple decks, and, of course, new weapons skins and a constantly evolving array of seasonal character clothing. Karlee will always be my #1 character - she and I are ride or die.
