I grew up down the street from this course although i didnt start playing until last year. my brother and i have gone to some of these courses since youve given us a nice preview. it would fulfill a 10 month dream to play with you if youre ever down, we are at your skill level.

Overall, the driver is most improved. Looks like on all your tug shots, ball placement relative to your swing path is the issue, especially on those iron shots. And the greens being slow were a factor. recognize that next time and don't be afraid go give it a little more pace, especially on the lag putts. I'm saying this because I need to remind myself of this haha. maybe try using a 9 iron on some of those longer pitches, the 10-30 yard length ones.

I think the putting looked pretty good. Once the 30 yard and under shots become more comfortable I think 90 will become much easier to break. The penalty shots hurt of course.

Im not to sure how thick the rough is there but, I notice you were chipping rather then putting when you were in the greenside rough. Depending on course condition I use the putter. Less chance for things to go wrong also my putt will get closer than chipping 9 out of 10 times. I just bring it up because you were short on a alot of chip shops wondering if you putter couldve saved some strokes.

John, I believe that you played your penalty off the tee on 17?, I correctly. You took a 1stroke penalty in order to do that you needed to go back to the tee. You should have taken a 2 stroke penalty and played from the edge of the fairway. Review the Local rule for 2019

@@FatGuyGolf I play a baby fade on my irons and just work with what is natural. It looks like your crisp iron shots starts off straight and end up fading slightly off to the right. If you start making greens in regulation and eliminate a few duffs and tops you will be shooting in the high 80s. Putting and chipping is looking great bud. Nice round busting that 100 shot barrier.
