You’re right It’s all about perspective I was just shooting in low 40s last year high 80s and I promised my fans I’d get better Seems the weight loss is making me worse!?? More reasons to eat pizza right???
@andrewtan54425 жыл бұрын
John Baker Golf Trust me, you’ll get better. When you keep making rapid changes to your body, your habits can’t be executed the same way. I had the same thing happen when I started growing a ton, and I was shooting 80-85 every time I played (This was bad because my handicap was a 1.1 at the time). Now that I’m done growing, I’ve settled down with a revised swing and have gotten used to shooting mid 70s (usually 71-76) a lot. As long as you believe in the process, you can trust that it will all come back to you.

I call bollocks here, playing off 1.1 you expect people to believe you were 12 - 13 shots off your usual game consistently? What happened did you start taking roids and turn into the hulk?

Just one thing that have helped me when I was blocking everything was I was swinging to hard. So try to slow the swing down and you will lose distance but it will help with the ball flight and you’ll hit more consistently. Now I’m not saying that’s going to fix it but it may help. And also it looked like on a couple of swings you were over rotating and was sending the ball farther right. Try it out and see what happens! Love the videos! Keep it up!

John, I just found your channel and I am enjoying your videos. Hang in there buddy and you will improve. My advise would be for you is to take a little extra time before you hit your shots. You seem to be rushing on every shot. Next would be on your iron shots, since you push most shots, set up left. Since you have a tendency to pull your driver, set up to the right. These are "bandaid" fixes but guaranteed to improve your score. Also...shortening your back swing will help you gain a bit more control. I am in your corner pal. You can and will improve. Do not beat yourself up. Thanks for sharing your golf with us.

Putting is looking good, picking better lines this year. Simply a little short on slow greens. Swing has definitely added more speed. The top of your backswing just needs to be more consistent. It looks better when the club goes up over your collar bone. When it flattens out and goes back more to your shoulder blade you hook it.

john, try this. grip the club with both hands and feel like your left hand is not doing anything, like if you didnt have a left hand, then swing the club like you would normally do and you will feel like you can control the face a bit better. i feel like its so hard to keep both hands in sync when when you are swinging 100mph(im right handed)thats why i started doing this and you have no idea how much easier its being, hitting 3 wood of the deck like never before, long AF and straight. i was indeed using my left hand but that was the "feeling" i was hitting it crazy good within 10 swings... try it and if you like it then use it if not then dont.... lol

yo man, your grip is probably the main cause of all the slices and balls you leave to the right. I get into the slice groove at times and I just have to re-check my grip, and make sure my left and is holding on to the club with my fingers and not my palm.
