Back after 18 years. A Philippines vlog. Day 2 - Baliwag, Bulacan, Manila and Mall of Asia

For context:
I was born in the Philippines but moved to the U.S. when I was 8. I visited only one time in 2005 and never came back.
This trip helped me re-discover the land that is my birth country. It helped me reconnect with my relatives, and it helped me relive some of my childhood memories.
The bonus? My oldest went with me. It’s his first ever out of the U.S. and is meeting all of his relatives in my side for the first time ever!
On day 2: we visit some of the homes I used to live in, in Baliwag Bulacan, then we go to Manila to see my parents Condo, then off to the biggest mall in the Philippines: Mall of Asia.
And before going home, we stopped to get street food for dinner!

It’s so nice to be back to our home land. Your video showing the old Baliuag Bus Station brought back memories of my Grandma and I travelling from San Ildefonso, Bulacan to Manila. Your vlog brings back all the memories I have of my childhood and it brings tears and happiness in my heart. Thank you for sharing your vacation. Thank you! Honestly I just filmed as I go. Let what was in front of me come into fruition naturally and I just capture it. Simple editing, no music, natural sounds as I heard it.

I mean, you’re right why take 18 years? I visited once when I was 22 then life happened..school, marriage, family, raising kids, career etc. though I could’ve still visited in between those..

42 years na ako sa states pero pag umuwi ako tagalog pa rin ang pakikipagusap ko sa mga kaibigan at mga kamaganak ko. Bakit Ikaw 18 years lang di mo makausap mga kamaganak mo ng tagalog? Yan Ang hirap sa ibang pinoy, nakatungtung lang ng America akala mo di na sanay magtagalog samantala napakarami na pinoy dito sa U.S.. Sa simbahan nga meron pang filipino mass😊 at may mga filipino groceries pa. HAYST. I don’t even think you’re married to a caucasian coz your son looks pinoy to me.
